How To: Dash Swap your Silverado/Sierra pt.1

This is the Video I promised y'all after 5k subs. This is only pt. 1 I'll be making a pt. 2 after this so if there's anything y'all want to see specifically drop a comment down below and I'll try and cover it.
In this Video I go over a couple main things you'll need to do in order to get a 14-19 chevy dash to fit in your 99-06 Silverado/Sierra. the trimming, and factory parts that are still usable even in a 1999 from a 2016, its pretty crazy how close these trucks are with parts and fitment.

Maybe I didn’t catch it in the video, but after I saw you already changed the break pedal you can do the hydro brake that’s connected to the power steering instead of the vacuum brake system with the booster

What did you need for the steering wheel conversion? For example, air bag, clock spring? Where did you connect power for heated steering wheel?

For the glove box scuff if they didn’t come out try using black trim restore/ or the dash(interior) shine/protection

This is some great work I've only seen one other channel that has done something similar to what you're doing but I think he only does Ford trucks interior, and custom electric hardness. he does it for living. His channel is Zachary McFarlin

Did the original vin tag stay? Does the newer dash have the vin tag on it??

Yes sir it did the vin tag is on the cab body not the dash.

You would have to do what everyone else does and use the factory cluster for your truck and fan it in.
