Oh you've got that right! This is purely a female thing. Ask a guy where to eat and he'll tell you right off the bat. I think it's funny that the gal in the video is busy with her phone and eating is not important anymore! I'm not sure if this is a lack of focus or just that they are afraid of making a choice but I end up just going to a place that she liked in the past ... after giving her a chance to choose. If it's my dinner out, I don't ask. Maybe better to say; I'm going to surprise you!

My girlfriend asked me last night why I haven't said "I love you" yet (사랑해). I was a bit taken aback and was scrambling to explain why I "didn't love her" (yet). We had a huge debate/argument about it until we watched a video explaining why Korean couples say I love you much more quickly than english speaking people. If you want to date a Korean women the most important rule I think there is to remember is the texting one. This is the absolute Rule 1. Good Morning, Did you eat? how was your day? 3 times a day every day. But you only need to do it this well only for about 2-3 months or so, as you get to know her schedule you won't have to do as much, but they still love it as much as possible.

i got some great tip actually i loved this technique though you can used not just eating but also to were you guys go for a bit bonding! since most guys are need to initiate for their girls here is a good tip for you- if you want to know what your girl wants to eat, do not ask her what she wants, instead surprise her, if she ask im hungry, then say this word- okay, lets go grab something to eat, but before that, we will eat if you guess where we will eat! if she mention a lot of restaurants or food plazas, just choose the first one that she mention.. it will be easy for you to catch her, and even she will amazed by your moves.. she will be like surprise! hope it helps. i like to have a korean girlfriend though.

@@RovaxYt In the 4 years since then, I've learned one thing. Date a Hong Kong girl. They're are very international (i.e. westernized) since they have a history with a lot of the world like Hong Kong films is a decent example. Everyone is different of course. But in general I've found them to be more upfront and okay speaking their mind, they don't have as many culture habits that come off as "rude" or "aggressive" to westerners (though they can swear like a sailor lmao), and since it's a major city too they have a mix of traditional and modern dating sensibilities (where historically I'm used to seeing them lean more traditional).

I will also move to Japan before 2030 and there they are even more traditional then in Korea. Maybe it is indeed better to date an Asian girl that is a little bit more western.
