Wow. This sounds good, but I've had the experience where they fake golden retriever energy. Maybe i was showing more orange cat behavior than 🐈‍⬛️. Hmmmm......Food for thought.

This didn't work for me either. When I paid attention to the men who weren't pursuing me directly, it turned out that it was because they were either used to women pursuing them or they were naturally lazy men who didn't pursue anyone whether they want them or not because they put little effort into everything including their own lives.🤷🏽‍♀️

You're right. You've won me over. Two guys I would have talked to if they weren't walking so fast. Guy one: hauling a huge bag to Plato's closet, like he had somewhere to be. Guy 2: at Aldi, sets some paper bags on a counter and told people they were welcome to them. So, had I been able to make a move, I would have looked for what you said on the date.

As u spend time around the golden retriever, you should naturally allow yourself to find the things that u appreciate about them. They ofc will annoy you- but u grow to kinda love it bc they’re the only person u will allow to annoy u lol If u don’t like them tho, then either y’all are not meant to be together or maybe it’s just time to start working on some socialization skills while ur back in single mode. Bc sometimes, we get so isolated that we crave it and we unknowingly start to do things that make us less agreeable bc we’re not used to having to compromise bc ur used to being more isolated. And it takes time to pull yourself out of it. And a relationship can be a little too much too early. It’s just a sign u need to do more inner work or he’s just not ur guy. Hope this helps

As a golden retriever guy myself, I can say that guy needs to work on his attachment trauma. He cares for you a great deal, but his desire for reassurance can be selfish and blind to your own emotional needs. He has to spend the time working on himself.
