This is one of the best guides on how to chip tune. It's far better method than OBD2 galleto mpps kwp2000 interface flashing, when 70% of the time it doesn't work. If you are going boot mode on a bench, you might as well save yourself the hassle and just desolder the chip like in this video. Plenty of people still out there that sell ready mapped chips, just buy them and solder them back on. Or of course if you have the .bin data you can just flash it yourself with a williem programmer and PSOP44 to DIP 44 Pin socket

Hi sir ! i have problem by in put the wrong file to my car ecu and my ecu if off ( dead and damage ) can we repair with change the flash memory with a new one and write the original file to a new flash memory? can this way make the ecu work again ? thanks before

Can somebody please help? I have a 2006 Kia picanto 1.1 By turning on the starting key, the check light doesnt comes. I have also no connection between my Delphi Diagnostic software and my OBD Socket, better the ECU. What I have done: when i am put a cable from the battery of the car, suddenly everything is different. I have taken a separate cable from the (+) of the battery to the Pin 16 of the OBD Socket, then the check light comes. From now on, I can also connect via my OBD and my laptop and my Delphi tool to the engine. So, whats the problem with this car? "Ground problem" or "(+) problem"? Do somebody know, where I can find the ECU by Kia Picanto 2006 1.1???

AM29F400BB-50S E SOP44 AMD NEW GOOD QUALITY should be the same chip. SOP 44 refers to the package type and how it has 44 pins. AMD refers to the company that made the memory chip and I can see the AMD logo on the original idk what E is for but my guess is its 100% the same.

OMG my golf IV have 20 year old capacitor on the ECU..... it make me want to check as i'm already in electricity with it because people did some crap work on it like..... "how to take off the plug from the locking mechanism of the door... it not come ... it not want to..... LET'S USE THE VICE GRIP!!!!" i think it's what happen ok they are hard to unplug but WTF.... and also i have a ton of bad contacts like temp sensor oil pressure sensor and shit like that... Like, if the oil light on the dash board turn on, don't be afraid just stop the car unplug and plug back the sensor several time then it's fine.... well, i replaced it now it's ok but is was needed to do that like once after /3 or 4 months of use of the car really nice! (well, the first time it's really not nice but once your used of it it's fine XD)

do you know electronic throttle controller? it can not only accelerate throttle response but also slow down throttle response of your car. It can provide you with racing car driving experience and also save fuel if you choose the economy mode. It is different from ECU tuning, it does no harm to your car .
