At 10:08 when you talked about being trained by 3 melee and 2 warlocks rotating kicks the actual best thing to do is AFK out, no BG is worth this much stress.

Been playing spriest at 2300+ mmr this season. Obviously running into the same teams over and over and xp'ed players know they can cc you during void form and if you trinket offensively they kill you in a bomb asap. Because of that, ive found that mind blast spec will pull ahead on most maps at high mmr. Also because there really isn't too much extensive 'team fighting' for your ghost to really get going, uually you find yourself in a 3v3 situation spinning. It will for sure pull ahead in silvershard, procs allow you to stay mobile and be ahead of the cart, to give one example. Mind bombing a group of dps while simultaneously silencing the nearest healer with dispel available, and placing your psyfiend around objects out of los of most dps but in los of kill target are plays you should bring up and would help your spriest audience out a lot.

You might be right, I haven't played a lot of high rated rbgs. however I did play a few at 2.6 mmr this season and every sp there was running this spec.. o.0

i tried this build in random BG, and i gotta say i was a little skeptical that initiation could ever outperform a straight haste buff. i admit i don't really understand the intricacies of this spec but it certainly is capable. my very first game playing the spec i posted this stat line- 15 kb, 0 deaths, 40 hk, 129 m dmg, 26 k healing. next highest dmg and kb was an Alliance Warrior with 6 kb and 100 m dmg. i didn't think this spec would allow me to get a lot of kb on top of padding damage, i was obviously very wrong. crazy spec, can recommend.

my first 3 bgs as a capped shadow priest I literally got shadow locked to death to the point where in total I probably had less than 100 spell casts for the entirety of all 3 bgs combined and decided I am never doing rbgs as a caster again lol.

i kind of prefer power auras over tell me when but i still gonna ask. how do you keep track of your void form and lingering insanity stacks? you fisically watch it on the corner or is more of a "muscular memory" thing? cause tell me when and power auras can keep track of that in an even less invasive way like the voild bolt cooldown (and i should add me an aura to keep track of that one)

No macro, just playing the Misery talent! :D When you VT a target it applies sw: pain too. If you don't play misery but want to have VT+sw:pain in one button, I think the only way would be a /castsequence but then you have to press the button twice and it alternates between VT and sw:pain. I wouldn't recomment it though :]

RIP "I made several forum posts about using AS and people didn't believe me. I can easily get 200mil damage almost every bg and will get 100mil more damage than other shadow priests in rated bgs. I'm telling you, the spec you want is AS, misery, psychic link, and initiation. NOT MIND QUICKNESS. YOU WILL GET INSANE CRITS AND IF YOU VOIDBOLT/MINDBLAST TARGETS ABOVE 80% YOU'RE MORE LIKELY TO CRIT AND SPLASH PSYCHIC LINK DAMAGE BETTER AS WELL AS SPIRITS AND DOTS CRITTING MORE. I think I might have gotten the inspiration from you to be fair though. I think you did a ghostbuster video with the old mind trauma before the mind sear change. Misery wasn't a thing at the time but once it came out i knew that initiation wasn't lost in the void. lol get it? Team fights are nuts because healers WANT their team topped off, which only helps your cause.

He is putting inmense pressure on enemy team. Spriest aren't specially good at going for the kill, they are better putting pressure. May be you don't notice but when you are healer and that much dmg is coming to the whole team it gets pretty hard and it becomes a real threat. And Shadowpriests aren't that good as offheals, they can, but it's not that good. It's better to save mana for a Mass dispell. They are all about spread damage and pressure.

legion spriest is mind numbingly easy..your 2 dots are 1 button and u spam mind blast...and void bolt when in void form. throw some mind flays in there when they are stacked...that is literally it. Keep your dots on everything including pets and you can easily push 300m in an rbg. If you are having trouble pressing 3 to 4 buttons maybe stick to random bgs its completely easy and dumbed down in legion
