Yes. Please do more videos like these. Am glad I know what to use and what not to use and why. Thanks for the knowledge.

Thank you for the video. Instead of expensive heating pad you can also use 3d printer print surface in case you have such a printer. It allows you to set the perfect temperature for this.

0:33 I wish I could do that.

One downside of the cold method is also that it can cause water to condense from the air onto internal components, which can cause ex. capacitors tho short out.

If I'm using heat gun, what is the the ideal temperature to set?
@mariodistefano29736 жыл бұрын
That's the one of painstaking points. I've tried on trial & error basis. found that around 200°C will not bend phone plastics but will soften the glue. One drawback is, expecially on recent mobiles like Sam S3, S5 and so on, the LCD keep demaged at these temperatures. I personally had this disaster experience. I came to conclusion that heatgun and metal-masking the glued area should be the best solution, but I cannot imagine how to make such masks keeping them usable on multiple device brands.. so who knows....

It’d be nice if electronics used normal Phillips screws instead of adhesives.

Buen vídeo 👌 No sabía que se usaba el frío también para los adhesivos, siempre he usado calor en todos ellos 🤔

How would one deal with the flakey copper films behind the Galaxy S models like the S5 or S6? It’s a real pain to clean the area.

The urge to make a good pun increases when you're early here and it really hurts when you can't think of a good one

I wanna how to apply adhesive back though. Is it even possible?
@misssrubie6 жыл бұрын
Anthony Juarez most of these methods will not allow you to reapply the same adhesives. It’s best to apply a completely new set. Not only to keep it in place, but it also allows a more professional and clean look.
