Man, I would love to work for you, is there any way I can send you my resume? My main focus is on IT, but I have had so many different jobs in different industries that it makes it hard to land a job in the IT industry. Either way, if I can just have a way to send you my information and resume it would be extremely appreciated.

Psychedelics saved me from years of uncontrollable depression, anxiety and illicit pill addiction. imagine carrving heavy chains for over a decade and then all of a sudden that burden is gone. Believe it or not in a couple years they'll be all over for treatment of mental health related issues.

As soon as you said that depression is worrying about the past and anxiety is worrying about the future, I started crying. No one has ever described it better. Saying that you can't control the past or the future, but that you can definitely control the present really put things into perspective for me. It really is the only thing I have control over, which is exactly why I should be happy about it. I'm not in danger. I have people and things to be grateful for. They would never want to see me suffer like this. They would tell me to take care of my health, which is exactly why I'll talk to my doctor about this and try to fix it. I've recently fainted and hit my head against the wall thanks to overwhelming levels of stress and anxiety. It's never happened before. People, this is not something you should take for granted. Your body will remember it. Please take care of yourselves and practice self love, no matter how hard it might be in the beginning. And thank you, Patrick, for making this video. It helped calm my panic attack.

Extremely useful video. I struggled with anxiety and depression from age 17 to 20. The darkest 3 years of my life.I still remember how paralyzed I was with the fear of what's going to happen in the future & felt guilty of my past. A life changing moment was reading the book "Feel The Fear And Do it Anyway" - by Susan Jeffers. It was the trigger I needed in life and the start of my journey towards self awareness. Highly recommended.

@@benweiss5539 everyone is barely figuring it out at that age. Find someone that has achieved what you want to achieve and model them. We have KZbin and books full of different people. 23 was really hard for me and I had no role model. Every day I was figuring it out and had to make my own decisions. Be around people that are older than you - that helps. They made mistakes and can advise. Look after your health as well - it keeps your mind stable so you can make those right decisions. The paramedics said all my vitals whir perfect .I didn’t believe them so I went to emergency room .they told me same thing . I recently battled covid 19 and was extremely ill while going threw a divorce and being taken care of by mother who is older and I believed could die if I give it to her while I was recovering at work my close friend and boss was murdered .and leading to her funeral all must have contributed to my panic attacks I’m still super anxious but with tears in my eyes as I write this I thank you so much I thought I was weak for this but seeing who you have become makes me feel strong and able to get threw this thank you and god bless.

Hi and thank you so much for your video! I suffer from depression AND from anxiety. I did all my best to free myself from suffering (pills, doctors, yoga, meditation, exercises, better food, etc.) but I feel that something’s still “missing” in my brain/heart (I’ve had a very difficult childhood) because I keep living the same, old stuff over and over. Just to give you an example, a few weeks ago I decided to plan a one week holiday in London with my husband. We went there but the second night and the morning after I felt so bad (panick attack) that we had to come back home. I feel this is a huge disability and sometimes I’d prefer to disappear from the face of this earth!

Happens to me all the time... especially while I'm at work. I just sit there and think "What if I could use all this time to work on my business?" I can barely take a whole week at work. Then I think: "What if I just quit and do what I want to do?" I know that this small amount of money will help me in some way and that I will have problems with my family if I quit since money is an issue and I have few more months of university. So the hardest is to know that you have to be there, to do things you don't like in order to survive and work on moving on. Patrick, you are absolutely right about thinking about the past and the future. It's like you are stuck between the poor, sad and lonely past and worrying about if the future is going to be the same. At least that is what it is like for me.

Thank you for this video in particular. This is a subject oft-glossed over, the focus tends to be on creating success, forgetting that not all of the time is spent in a feeling of drive and elation. To notice when breathing becomes shallow is important, then making a conscious effort to perform deep breaths all the way through the lungs. One more point to be aware of is identifying self neglect/abuse through anxiety or depression - biting fingers and restless fidgeting being more minor expressions of this. I've found taking ~7 minutes away from the keyboard - not smoking - to often be enough to soothe the nerves. Once again, I really appreciate your desire to share your experience and time in these videos, as I'm sure many others do.

For men: what has greatly helped me with anxiety is *drumroll* NOFAP!! I know people like to make fun of the subject of nofap, but it’s worked in my life. That along with cold showers and exercise along with reading self development books and autobiographies have helped me IMMENSELY. Also thank you for this video Patrick 🙏🏼

You are soooooo right about "circumstances matter". I try so hard not to say "Oh, if I was them, I'd do this better." because I know that other people who say that about me... it hurts because it makes you feel like a failure, but reality is they are not you and you are not them! So nobody can ever say that they would have done things better than you and you can also not say that about others. Circumstances matter! Don't let their criticism go into your brain and poison you. If you let it affect you... you allow it to happen. Just don't allow negative things to affect you.

For me the depression kicks in easily when the weather is bad. If I do a bunch of shores it'll get worse. For me the best day to work is a day when sun is shining. If I feel sleepy or so sometimes working more on the important thing helps. I've started a routine of going out everyday to a walk. It helps me a lot

Thanks for this video! I am dealing with anxiety myself right now. I thought the last two years extremely stressful times were the cause, but turns out the issues that triggered my anxiety, have their roots way before than I thought. I didn't pay attention to the several warnings my body sent me and eventually, a month ago I simply reached my breaking point. I have just started scratching the surface and there is a long way ahead but videos like this one. Are paramount to help everyone to understand better this kind of health issues. Thanks again for sharing your experiences and for the contents in your channel. Best Regards. Nick

thanks patrick, this is a very important issue for anyone who chased their dream even if they still in starting phase. Also, I hope you talk a lot more of the many failures of billionaires & millionaires make, then told their breakthrough. I found that way is more inspiring cause it makes them more human, unlike what the majority only look at their success.

For my anxiety i ve been doing the WIM HOF method aka the iceman, with the breathing excersices you can tap into the autonomos nervous system and control adrenaline, cortisol, noradrenaline. I´ve been doing it for the last three weeks and the changes are substantial, you should give it a try.

Hi Patrick, you are amazing. I am someone who never though himself as having any anxiety or depression and it's impossible to understand people who have it if you don't. At the same time I credit my optimism and positiveness for not getting into that state. Gratitude will help people with depression and anxiety and really whoever lives in a first world country has not much to complain and worry about, and I mean to put things in perspective. I believe that everybody is entitled to improve their life and that's what we humans are wired to do, but it's entirely up to our own choices and sense of responsibility. I believe people can get out of these bad feeling and live a happy fulfilled life if they look inside themselves, recognise it and study, like you did, and most importantly take action. By the way I would loooove to get the list of all the books you have in your office, I want to read/study them all. Thanks for your content and passion.

Gosh Patrick. You've been thru so much. It's comforting to know that people who appear superhuman are infact, human. And the reality of pushing too hard is the body says, 'enough'. This also manifests as chronic fatigue & fibromyalga. Chronic Pain Syndrome. That's the end of productivity. You have to learn temperance . Or be in bed for loooooog periods of time.

What a great topic, all were very helpful suggestions. I've experienced it several times once while driving in the middle of the highway. Not sure how, but thankfully I was able to pull over to the side and call my dad to come get me. The mind does and will play games. Some things that have also helped at the very moment is grasping some ice cubes, gets my brain to focus on the present. For me personally I don't like taking medication as a solution, so to combat depression getting out into nature does wonders. There's nothing better!

22:30 The more you want to experience the higher levels of competition, the more the possibility there is of having anxiety. Sometimes getting the juice of life means putting yourself in situations that you need to cope with yourself. And if you do that, that’s what leads to becoming a leader. _“I have not yet met a strong man or woman with an easy past.”_ Your body needs to be torn to become a stronger muscle. That’s the same thing with a leader and an entrepreneur - the bigger the empire you want to build, sometimes you need to go through the ripping of the muscle. The ripping of the mind. The ripping of a new mindset that you’ve got to go through to reach those new heights.”*

Thank you so much for sharing this message. I have taken it upon myself to speak more openly and vulnerably with the community that has surrounded me and using my platform to enrich other peoples lives in a similar fashion to how you are doing it. I have felt this anxiety build up in me as an athlete, a martial arts teacher and school operator, a boyfriend, a son, and especially as an entrepreneur....This is maybe the most important message I could take away as an entrepreneur because unless we resolve these core issues within ourselves all the business tactics lack our full conviction over the long term because we just burn ourselves out from self inflicted exhaustion... Much appreciated!

But one other layer: anxiety symptoms but NOT feeling ‘worried.’ Learning how to function in life- and learning how to manage life well- helps out a lot. If you let too many things ‘in’ that make a “normal” person have anxiety issues when your background or history or genetics already make you more likely to have anxiety or depression issues is a solvable situation, it just doesn’t feel solvable Don’t trust your feelings
