As a newer player it's sometimes frustrating when a skilled player gives advice like "just anti-air and you'll make it to silver". It's correct and it does leave it open for you to learn what that means on your own, but when you're struggling to get it to work it can be defeating to hear that advice. This was the opposite of that and I appreciate the specific examples and a breakdown of what it all can mean, I learned a lot in 5 minutes that I can use to learn more in 50 minutes.

This video was killer, walking through training mode step by step and then having the general guidelines was a nice format. It's the kind of info that isn't intuitive for a while and breaking it down is really helpful. Keep these vids coming, your topics are unique among FGC content creators and it's refreshing to see ^^

any move that charges can be easily beat by learning the timing of the release. full charge will normally be safe but auto releases, so you can time your punish. part charge is normally negative on block. an example - abigails vtrigger 2, block until full charge and throw will beat it 100% of the time. either gets thrown or hits your block and is punishable. same for urien and rmika. alex breaks armour but can still be thrown pre-emptively.

The Inputs in this game are Hard it's honestly INSANE! Yesterday I learned you can Shadow Buffer Hyakuretsukyaku (Quarter Circle Forward + Kick) *Without Ever Pressing the Kick, but by pressing Punch* -Yes I recorded this and Posted-it in the FGC Discord (True Story) and if you try to Dash Froward then Forward Kick (You Won't Kick) You need to Dash Forward and let the Analog Return to Neutral b4 Pushing Forward & Kicking They said it's because the controls in SFV are lenient, but that's anything but lenient....

@hellfrost3334 жыл бұрын
@@NotJohnnyKim Yeah they said it was the QCF out of Crouching Med Kick that Shadow Buffered -it without Kick and in-order to accurately pull off that combo, your analog should never be hitting Forward/Down and either has to come back threw center or left to right, but never bottom left up to right... Which helped me adjust and work on being more precise, but I'm still at a lost to how Punch = Kick just because I QCF into a Punch (You can See the Inputs, I only press FHK 1x and Crouching Med Kick 1x and this kept happening, so I asked about-it, but honestly back in my day 2+2=4 and today Punch=Kick (Because of Shadow Buffering) *Which is somehow according to what they said is suppose to be more lenient, but I'm not sure I understand Why/How =/

How do I deal with F.A.N.G. spam punch?
@schmerz0rn3 жыл бұрын
1. Start training mode 2. select your main 3. select F.A.N.G. as opponent 4. set F.A.N.G. to dummy 5. record dummy slot 1 doing 1 punch, then blocking 6. record dummy slot 2 doing 1 punch, then moving 7. record dummy slot 3 doing 3 punches 8. bring yourself in an uncomfortable position 9. test which of your mains moves get you out of this position 10. test which of your mains moves makes F.A.N.G. feeling uncomfortable 11. test which of your mains moves let F.A.N.G. bleed for spamming punches NOTE: spamming an "OP" move is the result of trying to get an easy win. means, he has possibly no idea what todo if you take this from him. NOTE 2: if you beat him because he was so surprised of how you handle the situation, you can be sure that he has another "easy win" method, and thats what will happen in a rematch: you think that you can beat him now, he changes to another method and you will fail again until you have learned how to handle his second "easy win" method. And after you failed and do another rematch, he will combine method 1 and 2 and you will fail again. Your best option? No rematch. Never.

Good video, tho i have a problem with seth axe kick, i can't air to air nor anti air it, and i think its a cheap move. And I see pros like to spam that move too so i guess there is no answer to it.
@NotJohnnyKim4 жыл бұрын
You basically answered your own question using the information in this video, which is awesome! Yes Seth axe kick is cheap, but yes, Seth axe kick is here to stay. I wanted to mention this in the video, but moves that are cheap but are also really hard to counter are just good moves.

@jvo67704 жыл бұрын
@@Doktor_Jones This is some incredibly silly logic you're using. Why does it need further context? If you're getting beat/hit by a certain move all the time and you think its good, but observe that professional players are never using this move when you watch the matches, Its got a weakness that you should figure out. That is far from irrelevant or worship. If you don't care about worthwhile advice thats fine, but you sound pretty dense pretending everyone has the same outlook.
