Great advice! Wish I would’ve listened to this a year ago! My wife is very combative. She’s not disrespectful but she thinks her emotions and feelings are the most important thing in the home. I thought by telling her over and over how she’s wrong was me letter her know what’s right and wrong. I’m realizing more and more it will never work. This method sounds fool proof. She will probably get irritated at me but I won’t allow myself to go there. Once I say “I understand what you’re saying but I’m not going to argue with you” she will then try to get me to explain and prove I understand by her asking numerous questions. I’m going to keep it short and simple and calm. Thank you!

Unfortunately my mother behaves in an angry, aggressive manner. When I was a pre teen she tried to groom me to behave like her but I fought hard against it. I was determined to think, act and behave the polar opposite of how she does.For so many years of my life I had to act like a parent and apologize for her atrocious behavior one time my mother got into an argument with a big and tall man I tried to explain to her that a woman should never verbally + physically challenge a man (the exception is if this woman is in a serious life threatening situation) she cursed me out. So many women in this community see femininity, vulnerability and friendliness as a major sign of weakness instead of a vital survival skill.

I was out jogging around Lake Kittamaqundi in Columbia last night when I saw a young brother arguing with his woman. First, I think it's worth mentioning that he was fit and put together. Meanwhile, she was out there looking like a busted Pillsbury biscuit can. It looked like she was flipping him major attitude, and he was visibly frustrated. I badly wanted to call out the Cal Mo Show or AMS to this poor guy, but I didn't want to muck things up for him any more than she had already. By all observation, he was the prize but was lowering himself to her level, dwelling in her emotional world, and losing to a 2 at best. Unreal.

Solid insights and advice. First of all, the shit test is a workhorse tool in the feminine arsenal. You correctly identified the effectiveness of "amused mastery" in handling personal put-downs or jabs. Lateness is another big one in her toolkit. They blow past meetup times on purpose to see how willing you are to assert yourself. Plus a woman who shows up late signals that she is not interested enough to risk that awkward few minutes of waiting alone if you happen to be delayed. You are also correct in pointing out that women will first try to bring you onto their home field of emotion before holding court. "Hold your position" is excellent advice. I would like to put the cautionary point you made into different words: when you hold your position, pull back your engagement, and state that you're not going to argue, expect the Jezebel Spirit to come out of her for a bit. You will take incoming. Just keep your heads down and weapons on safe. It'll pass. And then yeah, what do you do when she continues to step to you? Put her back on the streets--the relationship is over. A man MUST have peace, quiet, and freedom in his home or else he has NOTHING. Keep pushing out content brother. Kick it up a notch or two even. This red pill thing is about to get lit.

I have done this. Turns out, shutting the fuck up and saying "I understand" is worse than actually using my wisdom to speak and guide us to safety, as speaking using logic and understanding can draw up an argument. Catch 22. Hurts my head, makes me feel as if I'm depriving my knowledge an intelligence just to hold this structure together as well as feeling like I care more, having had more structured/layered discussions that aren't vague, but in depth; using words, tones that are conducive to intellectual odds. Idk...sometimes I wish I knew how to just stop looking for nails and put down the hammer. I have a defensive female & she smokes weed which further decreases her emotional intelligence. P.S I wrote this only a couple minutes in and it matches up with the rest of the video. Ha. You spoke on logic etc.

All good advice but my only question is how do you deal with a combative/masculine woman that is your boss? Is the man screwed at this point and needs to find another job? Way too many times I've been in a situation where my boss is a combative/masculine woman whose manipulative, quick to jump to conclusions without real proof, and passive aggressive that is almost to the point of crossing the line of them being disciplined for harassment. I've literally had to rethink my choices of career to fields not known for having women in them to avoid conflict with women in the workplace because it seems to be from my experience that most of the women in high positions tend to be this way. My wife is very respectful to me and everyone one else with very little exceptions. I don't understand the hate and disrespect from women going on today. It used to not be this bad. But lately all I have to do is walk in an apple store like I did the other day to get a new phone to only have a a young 20 something get all disrespectful/passive aggressive with me because I had questions about their product compared to their competitor. These were simple questions about their product and their competitors and she was acting like it was some kind of personal attack! Like wtf!?
