It depends on your therapist. Many of them become therapist because they have mental health issues themselves and sometimes they project their issues into their clients. She is fantastic not all therapists are good. I have wasted a lot $$ on them with negative results.

Sadia, I have a question.. I have heard you speak about your beliefs in Islam enough to understand you believe you are a Muslim. And I really see sense in your words according to psychology. But one thing bothers me in that you really are an attractive woman who seems to enjoy displaying your beauty for the whole world to see. So I wonder if you are married, and if you are, he must be a Muslim also, and if he is, what does he think about you showing your beauty on the internet, and if he is ok with that, what sort of man is ok with other men looking at their wife? And is that the sort of man that you respect, a man that doesn’t put boundaries on the relationship? Do you have intentions to one day practice Islam and put on the Hijab? The Muslim is commanded in the Quran to lower their gaze and for the women to cover up their beauty except for their husbands, sons and fathers. If men are told in the Quran as you suggested to control their gaze, then you should agree that women should control their own urges and desire for attention and dress modestly. And what is this open ended, meaningless statement of God created us to be who we are? Saying a whole lot of nothing.

To have self love means to be true to who we are. So if Sadia can reach people by spreading her wisdom then her beauty also attracts followers. I admire her knowledge, her class, her communication skills and her beauty and I am proud of her. But as a Muslim, I’m reminding her of her obligation to her Creator of being modest in her dress, because there ARE men and women who will not lower the gaze. And Sadia WILL be accountable to her Creator for not upholding her obligations. And this IS out of love. And it is a gentle reminder to Sadia, not an accusatory finger wagging.
