something about the title just hit a soft spot because student away from home + difficulty connecting with people in a completely new place leading to loneliness is something I've been struggling with sm, so i opened this video and daym, from start to finish you said some very real things. thank you for this (ps: esp your second point about helping others, im pretty much an introvert so its hard but ive noticed that everytime i manage to help someone, it makes my whole day)

Im a 3 year medical student from Pakistan and i opened this video out of curiosity because back here we have big community system and a sense of belonging , so i wanted to see how can i adjust in foreign countries if i ever think of doing residency in any foreign country . this video was beneficial , keep it up .

I can confirm- I got married in Med School. But It might make you even more lonely because now you want to spend time with that person. Double edged sword imo
