We spend so much time telling ourselves that we’re not good enough, smart enough, talented enough, or thin enough. We tell ourselves that we don’t deserve the things we want. Or that the things we want to have or experience will never happen. bit.ly/2Htujd3
Researchers estimate that we think about 50,000 to 70,000 thoughts a day - and that about 80% of those thoughts are negative. That is a crazy number!

A scripture verse says, "No longer conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.," Room 12:2 I love this verse and I believe that what Jack C. is doing is directing us to the on-ramp of renewed thinking. Bravo! Okay, I'm ready for more.

Choosing a choice of joy and gratefulness is my full time job. I found that it is easier to be negative than positive, unless you constantly choose a choice of positivity. It is a full time job of which I am committed to being the most successful employee!

Thanks Jack! Distorted, destructive, and negative thinking is a powerful barrier and roadblock to a life of peace, love, joy, and appreciation.. I'll remember to "cancel, cancel " whenever I catch myself in this mental boobie trap!!

Omg so good to find this to share, I did your tapes around 1988 or 89 self-esteem and Peak performance. I was an airline pilot. It helped me a great deal and I’ve never forgotten it. I just got through telling a friend that probably five times today I have thrown out negative self talk. I have done it daily my entire life since the 1980s this stuff works.

I lost an uncle i was really close to in 2017 and this happened while i was taking my CA exams something very difficult and crucial for my career. I had been really sad for a long time before that so when my uncle’s death happened, it felt like i attracted it by being so sad and negative. And i didn’t clear my exam and was the first time i had ever seen failure and now i feel i have changed a lot as a person and not for the better because before that i was extremely positive and self confident and literally got whatever i asked for but now i seemed to have forgotten how to do it

I love this. The mind reading is not a good idea. As the entire manifested world we see is just the individual pushed out. Controlling the inner conversations is so important. If you argue with someone in your mind they will reflect that in their behaviour towards you 🧡

Thank you so much for this Jack.... I talk to my two youngest children about this kind of thing every day all the time and was doing so again today on the way home from the school runs. I got home and found your email with this link, in my Inbox and got them to sit and watch and listen to your wise words (they're aged 11 and 12). It resonates far more with them when YOU say it than when I do, especially as they've also read some of your Chicken Soup books! Many thanks for helping! :)

Is negative thinking based on undeniable evidence or is it imagined? If imagined school yourself to think and visualise positive outcomes. If negativity is based on evidence in reality, understand why (take responsibility) and seek to adjust, if not possible then remove yourself from negative circumstances and learn to create a positive new reality. resources like Jack Canfield is an excellent start.

Self talk has been an important tool for me. I have been researching on all the modern self improvement tools and where they came from. They all come from the practice of Magick. Real magick has principles that are almost exactly how we use modern self help tools and concepts. Writing things down, vision board, self talk,, intention, focus, repetition. All remnants of spell casting. Read Real Magic by Dean Radin, PhD. A scientist who has seen the parallels between modern science and the use of magic. It’s fascinating.

Thanks Mr. Canfield for the extremely useful video. There have been a lot of discussions about hidden beliefs that prevent us from achieving our full potential or may even cause practicing law of attraction to fail (or yield substandard results). Can we overcome these limiting or hidden beliefs simply by interrupting our negative self talk and creating a chain of positive self talks?

Yes, it is possible, but it may take days, weeks, or months for this to happen. Just remember to stay relaxed physically while thinking positive. Life can be a breeze if done right. For example, the last two days I thought of how to make more money. Instead of straining to be creative or feeling that lack of an increased income, I relaxed and listened to some quiet music while saying positive thoughts about money and life in general. On the second day I had a work meeting, and the boss wanted to increase my commission. Not saying what I did was the cause, but it certainly brought about the conditions necessary for this to happen.
