Use to do it, it wasn’t healthy or helpful and resulted in many breakups. But recognize it’s bad and destructive. And got the help to work through it. 😢🇨🇦

You are a rare person. Most people don't realize how emotionally damaging it is. Most guys are not physically abusive but they are emotionally abusive and don't realize how painful it is.

He is talking sense. This is HEALTHY communication to establish that they need space rather than just disappearing and being a big baby. Silent treatment is ABUSE. Taking space is completely healthy but if you love someone enough you will make sure to tell them before you need space.

Silent treatment is a form of emotional abuse. It ends up affecting you more than the silent person. Needing space is okay but silent treatment is a Noooo.

Silent treatment is narcissist behavior. The abuser knows exactly what they are doing. They are banking on you to break the silence and the vicious cycle goes on
