Hi..old time gardener here..I found fine netting covers to be the most successful to growing squash... its so heartbreaking to have beautiful productive plants one day and the next day dying! I used mosquitoe nettings.

Thank you so much for sharing! That's an excellent idea! It's absolutely heartbreaking the damage they can do.

I enjoyed this very much! But if I was to summarize, find the squash vine borers, and their evil henchmen pickleworms, and SQUASH them! Sorry, that was bad 😳! My offer to loan you my emaciated anole’s, since yours are bloated, still stands! Thanks very much, for all the helpful information! I learn more every time I tune in. UF’s Entomology professor’s should make your channel “required watching!”

Great video! Thanks! What do you mean by “planting early or planting late”?
@AnoleGarden2 жыл бұрын
Planting early is putting the plant in the ground as soon as the weather permits...so, start the seeds inside and put the seedlings out when it's safe. Planting late...if you have a long planting season, plant in early August to early September as opposed to early Spring. Hope that helps!
