I deal with stress sometimes by drawing, and like joey said, going outside and doing sports, also listening to some music, writing my feelings out in a paper and destroying it after, going to my back yard at night and think about anything and everything. When my stress is getting the best of me, i just write to that one friend that i know that is going to help me and give me some advice and cry silently or whatever, it's okay to cry sometimes, for me it really does helps a lot

I deal with my stress by making things. Cards, bracelets, painting, anything to keep my hands busy really. And I like making things for people. So don't be surprised if I have a bunch of stuff for you in Chicago 😂❤

I typically deal with stress by watching my favourite youtubers tbh. Idk. There's always at least one that's in a good, upbeat mood and seeing others be so happy, helps me cope with whatever's happening in life

Love this! I always go on walks when I feel stressed. I'm in college, and my campus is beautiful, so I love walking around a few times with my headphones in, listening to my favorite music, and just walking around. It really gives me a quality break that makes me feel relaxed :)

I am stressed just about 24/7 and sometimes I can't do much about it. However, when I feel overwhelmed or think that something is the end of the world I take a step back. I step back, take a breath, and think "I have a 100% track record of surviving". I think "I am undefeated", because it's true. We are all still here and that is something to be proud of. Stay strong guys...we got this

Today I realised my health does come first. I had to give a presentation at a school assembly today, and I was putting too much pressure on myself for it to be perfect, and once it was over, I completely blacked out and proceeded to panic afterwards, and I realised it was due to stress. I've raised really high standards for myself that I can't achieve, and I've forgotten how to relax and be happy with what I am doing. Luckily my family were there for me, and I'll be having stress management sessions to sort it out. This video was great and has made me feel a lot better! I'll now be cuddling my dog for the rest of the day :)

if you live by a river or lake it can help. i don't, but whenever i go somewhere that does, i try to go there as often as possible, maybe listen to some calm music. it's honestly one of the best feelings in the world

I deal with stress but treating myself like you said. I usually read, draw, write down my feeling in my notebook, sing, dance or go hang out outside with friends. Just do you. Do what makes you a happy version of yourself.

I write blogs. It reduces my stress. I literally feel my stress going away as I reach the end of my blog post. So writing down my feelings and emotions, help me with my stress. Thanks Joey ❤

Some ways I calm myself down is like playing my guitar, writing whatever pops in my head, and even like going outside listening to music helps. Honestly just finding some time out of your day to distract yourself by something you're passionate about will calm you down so fast.

Playing an instrument can be so relaxing. I personally like to sit down somewhere sunny with a cup of tea and play my ukulele. I just feel so chilled out afterwards and like to look for beautiful music to play.

this video helped me a lot! honestly today sucked for me, my friends stabbed me in the back and I broke down and started crying, I was so stressed and I literally wanted to disappear. but watching this video made realize how much I miss my old school and old friends and now I'm going to take a deep breath and relax and be at peace with myself 😊 thank you Joey💖💖

When you actually write your name down, when I cope with stress I find it really helpful to like you said take a walk, go outside, eat your favourite food, and try and put the stress I'm experiencing into perspective of its importance! Very useful video Joey x

Great video!!! I have been thinking a ton about stress this month so very coincidental that you made this video! I think my favorite way to get out of my head and stop thinking about the stess in my life is finding a HUGE swing and swinging for a very long time while listening to my favorite songs! The other really helpful one for me is that I like to write down what I am stressed about and consider each thing and if it is worth worring over, such as school, yes it is important but does it need to stress me out so much I lose my mind? No. It really doesn't. And honestly we have no idea how long we will ive for so make a differance while you can, and stop worrying so much! So that's what helps me!:) And trust me I should have a doctorial degree in stress... I don't by the way:P Thanks Joey for the advice:) Can't wait for you're next video! talking to my bestfriend/boyfriend always helps me because he is just really understanding and we have gone through similar things and he listens and then he tells me his problems and it makes me feel better that i can help him too

Talking in general, and helping others are one of the biggest relieving feelings in my opinion, so im sure what you did in this video helped you with your stress joey. Seeing other people smile and be happy, can make any proper human forget about stress too. Listening to music also helps a lot. Take care of yourself joey and everyone whos reading, youre precious.

This video is great and very needed. Thanks Joey!. I also want to add that keeping a journal has really helped me. I know it's typically thought of as a "girl thing" but it's not. I use mine to talk about my day, draw/doodle, write quotes, write down my favorite music or playlists, and talk about my feelings. There's just something wonderful about taking pen to paper and just writing. It's very therapeutic for me and I'm sure it may help some of you reading this too. And I agree, having a cuddle buddy makes a world of difference!. I'd be lost without my cat. ^_^ Physical exercise has helped me so much. I take walks around my neighborhood and listen to my favorite band and it improves how I feel by 100%. Also, I suggest making a playlist of songs that make you feel happy and have a positive vibe to them and listening to that when you're upset. Sorry, this comment is all over the place lol.

Ok but actually this helped so much. I have a test in every class this week and it's midterm so it's been rough. And this was just a reminder to breathe, it'll all be okay. And honestly, i can't thank you enough joey.

When I comes to stress what I do, is a take a step back and breath. And count to ten then back down to one. When doing that I feel refreshed.

The issue I have is that a lot of the things people tell u to do to deal with stress is time consuming, such as exercise. I don't have time, honestly thats probably one of the thing that makes me stressed. But something as simple as writing my name on paper and three deep breaths is so quick, simple and effective. Just doing them both then immediately made me calmer, sothank you, hopefully these little things can help me!

Sometimes when I'm down or stressed I just cry it out. It's not bad to cry, it makes me feel relieved. Hope I'm not the only one ? :)

I have always felt anxious about everything and whatever I'm doing I always seem to find a negative out of it but I have found that playing netball or doing something that keeps me busy gets my mind off it really really helps. Loved this Joey, I really sat down and took out a pad and paper and just relaxed and wrote down my name, then continued, writing down ideas to just get away from things for a little bit or maybe do something for myself for once, and above all, relax 😌

Joey, this is actually amazing. I didn't even really realized how stressed I felt until you were telling me to relax and let it go. I know you are the class clown and make ridiculous videos but these are so important and these girls and guys that look up to you are going to be so positively impacted by you taking the time to voice stuff like this. This video actually helped a lot, I've been stressing over this assignment for school since my teacher said if I don't hand it in I'll have to repeat and that really got to me so now I have panic attacks everyday because of it and when I took 3 deep breathes I actually began to cry and I couldn't stop myself yeah I'm still feeling stressed but it actually did help so thankyou for this joey it's very much appreciated ❤️😊

BTW, I've been recently so stressed out - it's my 1st year at uni, so much studying, I'm also in the volleyball team, so games, trainings, stats... and on top of that I got some virus 2 days ago, so... hmm... well, could be better, I guess. But today was just so beautiful outside, so I went out, took some pictures and I just felt AMAZING. Honestly, I don't remember the last time I was so relaxed! So go outside guys, it's so helpful! :)

I deal with stress by watching my favourite TVs shows or movies and eating my favourite snack during it. I also LOVE listening to loud music with earphones it really helps I recommend it

personally i think meditation can help with stress too, not necessarily religious meditation, just kind of mindfulness either guided or unguided meditation can be really nice (you can get music for either on spotify)

thanks joey. I always have such a hard time dealing with stress. Especially when it comes to school and grades which is mainly stress i put on myself. But these tips are helpful. I also find listening to classical music helps.

I've been dealing with anxiety caused by stress for about a year now and it's sometimes hard to figure out how to control it when I never had to worry about it before.
