I wish I had seen all these organizations and de-stash videos when I first started watching all the diy videos. I have no room to actually do any diy projects because every surface is piled with supplies. It is so overwhelming.

I'm about half done with my own declutter & reorganize project. It's definitely a work in progress! It's very overwhelming, but it helps to just focus on 1 small area at a time & worry about the next area when this one is done.

Take it back!!! Put the nautical rope back in the bag and take it back to DT for something you will use. Just tell them you did an online order, I've done this a lot recently, trying to get rid of stuff because I over buy 🙃 they have storage bins with lids for $3, to help with storage! Hope this helps. I've been working on my craft room and upstairs storage... it's been since Nov. The struggle is real. Thank you for all of your inspiration.😊

I bought a 2 bedroom condo almost a year ago and my spare bedroom is being used for... you guessed it... craft supplies galore (in no semblance of order). Not as much stuff as you since you've been doing projects longer than I have but I definitely have a mess to work on. When I hear you describe different issues you have with how much you have I say to myself, "that's me, that's me and that's me" Too funny... but not. Are you picking up what I'm putting down? LOL My biggest issues are discipline and procrastination (as I sit here on You Tube and watch how-to videos). Anyway, you are doing a great job and I so appreciate these videos.

Sammie, I completely understand your craft room dilemma! My husband and I have turned our living room into our craft storage area. We never used it. I also have a spare room that is my craft room. Oh, and not to mention that we also have stuff in a 2 1/2 car garage. Yes Ma'am, I have a problem! Lol. I say "we," but is really more me. Lol. We went on a 2 week vacation after Christmas and when we got home I started to tackle the living room and craft room. It has been a hot mess. I have been like you and been in serious organizational mode! However, it is slow going. I feel your pain with the anxiety of it all! Hang in there! When it is done, each of us will be so happy. I already feel the desire to craft again! (I was in a slump from doing too much Christmas!) I wish you all the luck with the craft area, the new baby, your family and your business! Just take some time out when you get too overwhelmed! ❤❤

To quote Maria Shriver, "life is a marathon, not a sprint". You will get there. I am going to embarrass myself to hopefully make you feel better. I live in Florida. We don't have basements. Sooo, when my stash got out of control, guess what I did? I got a storage unit. I told myself that it was for a month or two. I was going to go through it and either make the projects or get rid of the supplies. ONE YEAR LATER I am still paying for the storage unit. It's going to end this year. I just brought several boxes to salvation army today. The struggle is real 😫

What if you donated some of the craft overages, lol I have tons too. See if your local senior homes could use them , this way they are so happy with craft supplies and the residence get to enjoy making crafts. I think of it as passing on supplies to help bring joy to other elderly crafters and to keep their creativity and imaginations alive. Gifting our gift to others. You’re doing great! I’m literally afraid of my craft room right now. I’ve had seven surgeries in two years so I’ve pretty much missed two Christmases, Thanksgivings, Easters, etc! I’m a purger-really bad. Except when it comes to craft items. I literally have kept every Dollar Tree scrap known to exist! I swear after my last surgery, which is Monday, I’m taking my cues from you! It’s all gotta go! I’m such a visual person, so if I can’t see it, I don’t know I have it, therefore why keep something I can see or even know I have🤷‍♂️😂 Good luck!

You might need to consider some help in this decluttering process as you do have a lot and time is flying by. Also the same as you considered adding the nautical rope as a gift to your orders you might be able to add other things too. Everyone loves free stuff. It's the thought that counts. Next steps I would STRONGLY recommend to make time and take the donations to wherever you want to take them, take the items to your booth and take out the trash. If you don't start making some space on your floor you will always feel overwhelmed because it does look like A LOT.
