The large glasses are called “working glasses” I think they’re made in France. The smaller ones are the same. My first dish set was all clear glass made in France and I used them for 30 years or so.

I have oriental carpets like these, they are so nice to walk on barefoot, my home looks expensive (some really are persian) and all who visit feel good - like they already been in space like this.... it looks familiar and friendly (homey) to them. 💕

You are where I grew up! Best deals to find are in estate/yard sales in Brentwood, Franklin, Greenhills And Bellemeade!!! All suburbs in around Nashville! You will find some great deals! There is also another Goodwill on Murfreesboro Road in Franklin which is bigger and has a bigger selection than the one you went to. Good luck! I am jealous of your basket and glasses you bought! What a great deal! 😊

Also other Goodwill has books, more pictures and furniture if you hit them on the right day! If you get friendly with the cashiers you can get an edge on when the good stuff comes in!

I dont know if they gave you any history on the building and the train station right outside the door. Quite often those large smoothie glasses are sold at William Sonoma and you can buy lids for them as well. The lids will fit the small and large glasses

Check to see if they still have the monthly Fairgrounds Flea Market, it was a great resource for bargains, antiques, etc, when I lived in Tennessee, I set up at this market!
