Eucalyptus & hydrangeas are my fav dried florals to decorate with. Back in TN we had several Oak trees in front of our house, and they produced those really large acorns. We also had pines so there were plenty of pinecones! You know my love for anything old & made of wood, it really is a great natural element to decorate with for fall! I've noticed several ladies have picked up the wood pumpkins! Very popular already this year for fall!😊 Thanks for sharing all your great ideas!

Love the natural elements especially at fall. If using real, gathered acorns be sure to read up on how to bake them otherwise you’ll have a worm type bug that will hatch from them

They were already completely dried in the bush so we just cut them off. I’ve just been storing them in a safe place so they don’t get ruined 🙂

Love adding pieces of natural elements to my home but I am selective and careful. Be aware when bringing in acorns, nuts, pinecones, leaves you can bring in unwanted bugs/worms. Plus as the wife of a horticulturalist I would advise not cutting branches off your trees or branches from park trees. If not done properly the tree can get fungus, unwanted bugs into the interior etc. Pick up broken off limbs if you feel the need for real leaves. Personally I prefer to leave the natural elements like that outside to be enjoyed.
