It’s not giving me my axe and I’m pressing ALL the buttons and it won’t let me attack him the only thing it’s letting me use is the shield and that still does nothing…what do I do!!!!!

anyone else find that the parry opportunites for the yellow attack are way to demanding even for balanced dificulty early game, like The Bear literally has a second where you can parry his attacks and thors while easier to parry are way more punishing to fail, i loved the previous game and this one has so far not disappointed in the visual and action departments, but holy hell, the first 2 bosses are such bullshit especially for an intruduction to the game.

I appreciate your instructions one thing I found that helps beat him quicker is to attack him with the frozen axe instead of just with the unfrozen axe.

Man, although this is an old video, it really helped me a ton. When the very first fight happened with Thor, I thought the pillars of statues was stopping me from getting my axe. Only took me like 1 Hour and maybe 15 Attempts. Overall this tutorial is very good an informative! 😊

@@eminemsupahot_12yt31 yeah but how do you utilize ANY attack? All it let’s you do is hold up the shield with L1. No offensive moves allowed whatsoever despite pressing O, X, square, or triangle. Only offense allowed at all is a weak, ineffectual front kick with R2. How can you win when you’re given nothing to attack with?

Here's the easiest way I found to defeat Thor in this game. Quit the game. Go to your library and delete it. Thor can never hit you ever again. Game over. I hated this game it's my first god of war and I found it to be very cheesy. Kratos voice actor is cringe city.
