This is gold!...Being a cop, the full mount doesn't work for me because of all the moving parts and unseen adversaries. But I LOVE the hip toss!

I think the first part of this punch defence is one of the most realest and possible ones. Covering your head means 360 protection (inspired by Keysi Fighting Method's Pensador pose (thinking man defense)) and lowering your body (ducking- Boxing) means the assailant can't hit the ribs or the groin. Also the elbows in that position stop the knees. A swift punch/elbow to the groin or a web to the throat will generate enough time to disengage and get out of there. This is something even an average individual with average fitness (strength; flexibility/mobility/stability; endurance (muscular/cardiovascular)) & conditioning (power; explosiveness; agility; balance; coordination; reaction time & speed) can do.
