Whats stopping him from turning the blade inward toward your chest. It doesnt take much to puncture the side. I dont think arm hugging someone with blade is a good idea. And im speaking from the attacker point of view. Like if someone grabs my arm like that im not trying to pull my arm out imma be punching with the free hand and poking with the opposite

That's not how men usually hold knives in a fight.

I was stabbed nine times. This isn’t how it really goes down. All the training in the world, will never prepare you for what’s about to go down.

Wow, glad you made it.

@@torreyintahoe Thanks. My collar bone saved my life. The knife dug into my collar bone, and stopped it from cutting my artery. It was 1/16 of an inch away.

Mas Oyama, the great Kyokushin teacher was attacked by a knife wielding man once. He used a strike called Nakayubi-Ippon-Ken (middle finger fist strike) which is the fist with the middle finger partially opened up and used as a sharp point. He struck him in the philtrum, the soft area between the upper lip and the nose. The guy was dead before he hit the ground! Takes years of training to be effective at this technique however.

Kung fu calls it a Phoenix Eye Fist, but uses the pointer, strongly supported by the other fingers.

Sure, as long as the guy doesn't know how to rotate his wrist, you should be just fine.

If that knife is aiming up then your armpit is ripe for cleaving
