City girl turned country here. My country boy husband gave me a very nice dehydrator for my birthday one year and even though I was learning to can and preserve at that time, I wasn’t happy. NOW, I can’t imagine living without it! That thing is practically running around the clock when things start ripening. Don’t be me ladies, sometimes a gift is more than a gift. Great video!

I'm doing a curry today so I'll be using a little of my pre dried ones they have such a lovely flavour,,🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️👍

I'm growing hot peppers for the first time (Cayenne and Thai Dragon Chili). I was thinking of combining these peppers and making one pepper product, either grind to powder or coarsely crushed in a baggie. What do you think? Or, should I keep these pepper types separate? Thanks for making this easy-to-follow video! 😊😊

Keep them separate then try them in different spice mixes until you find ones you like for chicken, fish, beef, pork, etc. you might try to make a Caribbean spice, or an Asian spice. It will be fun to play with them!

I have some chili peppers that are uber hot green and take forever to turn red. They taste amazing green! If I wait for them to tuen red before picking, often insects have taken bites. So the actual question is, can I dehydrate them in the green state of growth.

unless you have a proper to funnel all that air from the oven directly outdoors, i would not recommend doing it in an oven. or, here's a good idea i just came up with.. ask that neighbor you dont like very much if you could use their oven for a while since yours "somehow does not work properly atm".. and dont forget your reapers, scorpions and ghosts.
