I am 62 yrs old and new to Autocad. There were several layers when I imported PDF document. but could not delete the layers. Spent 2 full days trying different methods. But your option were simple and easy. I could delete4 the layers by using options 1 and also two for another 3 layers. My sincere thanks to such simple easy method explained step by step

Is there any way to see which blocks are deleted with the first alternative? or why are these blocks "invisible"?

Yes use f2 on your keyboard to expand the command line after you purge your blocks

yes when you see the option on the command line that says verify blocks say yes instead of no
