LOL saved my ass. I was fighting with a pin for way too long thinking I must be missing something. Searched for depin Denso ECU connector and luckily your video came up. I thought that pin lock was just a mold mark. Learn something new every day!

Really appreciate the video. I was getting ready to drill out a male pin which had broken off. Thanks to your instructions I was able to remove the pin without damaging the housing.

Great vid. Appreciate it. Had to depin a t-harness for my Lexus so that I could tap into wires and properly heat shrink it. I didn't want to cut the wire. This was perfect!

thanks, you saved my harness from being stripped

A little tip: don't pull on the wire "prematurely". You'll bind the locking tab in place and you won't be able to lift it up. Instead: push the wire in to remove any tension on the tab, the push the depinning tool from the front of the connector and lift the tab, then pull the wire out of the back of the connector. Also not that all 5 of the depinning tools are different. If the tool you're using won't fit, look for one that will.

Do you have any depin tools for nissan?
@iwiresubaruwiringsolutions55382 жыл бұрын
If the ECU connector looks similar it would work on a Nissan as well

Not as easy as it looks depining the small whole on the ecm. I have the special tool and it still does not loosen the terminal.

For sure, we make it look easy with our experience. Make sure the lower lock tab is released though.
