Hello mate, your videos are absolutely awesome. What is the differnece between setting up a WMI filter and setting up the GPO to be linked to all domain users?

The WMI filter stops this policy being applied when a user logs into a server, as I don't want custom backgrounds on servers, as I prefer to use a tool such as BgInfo for server backgrounds. You still need to assign the GPO to your users organisational units when using a WMI filter. Thanks for watching!

Hey, very good video mate. I just set the background directly from the share, are there any pros and cons for copying them first or not?

The only downside I'm aware of when doing it directly from the file share is if the share is unreachable for any reason, the desktop background will be just black/blank. For example, if the device is a laptop and not connected to the network when it the user logs in. Thanks for watching!

dont know why dindt work for my it was working with other method. can it be my windows 10 is not active? i just doing lab testing for a eduction project

I think now I know what I was doing wrong. I was setting a user GPO under the computer OU I have, and the users were in another OU. Now I just left this GPO in the general OU, and it works again ... I'm just dumb hahaha
