You know what, I got the feeling that something is wrong here; an adorable puppy, rows of pretty flowers, and Bob's smiling face don't help me imagine a bad day. If someone asked me what today's lesson is about, I would say that it's about how to live a good summer day or a wonderful, cool summer day on a blessed piece of land..

Hi Bob, I would like to give you some expressions in French on the same topic as "bad days" like: I got up on the wrong side of the bed ! - Je me suis levé(e) du mauvais pied ! I can’t do anything right today! - Je n'arrive à rien faire de bon aujourd'hui ! Ou - Je suis bon à rien aujourd’hui, il y a tout qui va de travers ! Nothing's going my way - Rien ne va comme je veux aujourd'hui ! Why me? - Pourquoi moi ? ça tombe toujours sur moi ! I’ve had better days! - J'ai déjà eu des jours meilleurs ! This day is off to a bad start! - Cette journée me semble mal partie ! Nothing's going according to plan! - Tous mes plans vont de travers aujourd'hui ! It's time to call it a day! - Il est grand temps que cette journée se termine, je propose de s'arrêter là pour aujourd'hui ! It's just one thing after another! - C'est incroyable, c'est juste un problème (ou une «emmerde») après l'autre aujourd'hui ! Ou - C’est incroyable, les ennuis/ «emmerdes» volent toujours en escadrille ! I wish you very nice and great days.

Thank you for your video. It was really useful. However, what I don't like about learning new words is that you learn them but then you forget them. I think it's because English learners don't know how to activate their passive vocabulary. It would be extremely great if you make video on such topic.

The key is that you need to use the new words right away in a situation where you can say them and write them. That helps a lot. I will write down you suggestion. Thanks! 😎🎂🎨

To turn you back on someone means to ignore them in a serious way for a long time. Here's an example: Because I'm a criminal, my family has turned their backs on me.
