Hi Bob, Many thanks for this amazing new video full of competent advice. I think I'll be able to follow all your advice, even if for the marathon I need to do it while walking slowly 🏃♂️🚶♂️👨🦯😉 with lots of breaks so I'd be able to smell all the roses and look at all the scenery on the way to success 🏁🏆 The Italian would say "chi va piano va sano e va lontano" . All the best et encore mille mercis, vraiment, sincèrement c'est tout simplement digne des plus grands 👍👏.

I'm learning a lot from your strongly recommends. I participated in a placement test last week to sit on a right spoken English class and they said you were not prepared. They are right, I wasn't good enough on day when I couldn't get the examiner's questions , but I know well " Genius is simplicity." / Mozart / and I'm going to master in English as you , as a native English speaker. I know how to do it right now. They didn't know, but I know well how a loser can be a winner one. It's utterly simple. Imitation ! Just imitating can show me the right path. I have a tutor and can follow him and he directs me how to be like a native speaker. It's too simple to imitate. I would appreciate you as a mentor and instructor. Many thanks in advance.

I totally agree with the marathon theory. I think it's a endless marathon, it might sounds bad but it is not. I've learning English for several years, I have no problem to talk to people in English, but I'm still try to only watching English movie, TV shows. I listening English songs and remember a few new vocabulary everyday. Learning is no end, and I became more excited by knowing that. I love English, I love how it sounds when people say it, I love the beautiful in it. I think the easier way to learn it is that start to feel it, instead of treat it as a task or goal.

I have been watching movies, listening country music, listening procasts, reading many kind of material in English for years. The speed of getting fluent in English is REALLY slow. But now, I can teach my students how to figure English questions out. And translate them in my native language in a nature way. I am surprised that I can do these things, maybe just like Bob said, enjoy the process of learning English, the progress you got is more than you can imagine.

I also realize every day that how much I forgot because I can't use English every day. Hence the dilemma: is it worth learning English? Your videos always suggest that the answer is yes on your side. Thanks for the lesson.

Thanks, teacher Bob for some encouragement on how to be motivated to study and learn the English language. To be honest, sometimes I feel hopeless and bored studying because I feel that my English will never improve. Because of your channel especially this topic today of encouragement to learn English, I should feel motivated again. One of my way to practice my English writing is to comment on your every lesson and keep listening to English podcasts. Speaking is worst for me than writing, listening, and reading. I hope on your next content I would like to request the best way to practice English alone and proper pronunciation. Have a nice day and keep your chin up!

Hi Bob. When it comes to practicing just listening, you said it's easy.. well I don't know about that, for me seems hard. You know, I've been doing for long time, and after thousands of hours doing, today it's getting easier, however, the first 3 years listening, I couldn't even watch a TV show without subtitles. So, from my experence, it's the most important thing.

What is the moral of turtle and rabbit story? When the hare reached the point where the race ended, all the animals were laughing at him for losing the race to the tortoise. That day, he learnt a lesson that bragging about something doesn't win you accolades, hence you should never mock others for their own pace. Moral of the Story: Slow and steady wins the race
