I wouldn't use Google images if your plan is to sell t-shirts. Stick to copyright free imagery, obtaining commercial licenses, getting custom illustrations done, using your own personal photos, etc. Otherwise not worth the potential legal issues in my opinion!

If you were to send your design to a manufacturer to get it printed, would you keep the image the way it is when you have removed all black color?
@FULLERMOE3 жыл бұрын
If you're getting it screen printed, you can keep the black background and just clean up/organize the layers. If it's DTG you need to approach the design differently and make sure everything is isolated so you can remove the background before sending for print.
@mandafigz56793 жыл бұрын
Hey Fuller, i purchased your master bundle and I followed all the step with my own design. I wanted to use DTG printing and the printer shop said they need the file in a PNG format with a transparent background. Is there a way to do that? Or will I have to start from scratch on a transparent background? Any help is appreciated, thank you.
@FULLERMOE3 жыл бұрын
I recommend going into the design with DTG in mind from the beginning so that you're using imagery that can work on a transparent backgrounds. You can also watch the end of this video and try my method for removing the background.

Do your text styles and selective colors fall in line of the gamut warnings on Ps? I use printify and printful for DTG prints. Do i just turn down the opacity to 85% so i looks a little aged? The super bright colors mixed with the cracked vintage fading looks funny.

I would try two things. One, make the colors in the design more desaturated. Two, when printing try to use water based inks. They tend to make the print look thinner/more worn from the jump.
