Something to remember is to check and see if that book cover is already in use, so you don't run into copyright problems. Because I saw at least one that has a book author already using and monetizing it as a legally sourced, copyrighted creation, and so she has the legal right not the next person that comes along.

Friendly correction... I'm not sure what you mean by " legally sourced". I don't think that's a correct term for this situation. When people use premade templates/ designs. Neither own the copyright. It is perfectly ok for more then one person to actually use it because usually it is acquired via a license to use it it for commercial use. Not one copyright. Also when someone changes the design. It becomes its own design with its own copyright. Although it would be debatable in court if it were very close to the same design. But again it does not apply here because when we get designs from things like creative fabrica, Canva etc . Those design templates are licensed to us. We do not have the copyright. And again of course more then one person can use it or that would not really make sense for them to sell it to more then one person etc ..

You can also use Bookbrush to use your own designs! Use a drawing platform and put in the correct dimensions for the cover before designing. I used Krita and drew the front, and back, cover of my first book that I hope to be releasing soon (Sea Monster) and then submitted it to Bookbrush's cover creator. If you put the correct dimensions in, the picture should fit perfectly. Then, you can add a background for the spine, add some text for your book like title, author name, etc. Then, save the project, and you're done until it's time to publish! If you're designing the cover before publishing, wait until you have the exact word count and then resubmit the word count to your project, fix everything to the new size, and boom. You have a working book cover and book waiting to be published.

@@harrystylesfan4812 The book is told from two POVS. Clo a seventeen year old princess who ran away and is under disguise as a random girl. And Zaj, an 18 year old street thief with two brothers. In this world people with powers are called Defenders. There are different Regions(almost like states) that make up the kingdom. It’s the story of Clo and Zaj (and the rest of the group). Some of them get powers and some don’t. It’s kinda hard to explain. But basically they go on this journey and there is tons of action and betrayal. I don’t know if you can help, but it would be nice if you could :)

If that’s the case then a possible title could be “The Defenders” or “Defend” (not that good ik lmaoo but its smth). Also are there any important scenes in your book that could somehow have a play in the title? Or important sentences? For example, i have a wip novel thats a love story about two main characters forced to work together and come up with a creative writing project using the solar system. The main characters end up writing a love story about the sun and moon being forced apart but getting to be together during an eclipse. The main characters are Elio and Bruno. I kind of wanted there to be a metaphor for their love story so Elio is like the sun whereas Bruno is like the moon. There are things (like their own internal battles) keeping them from being in a relationship together but eventually they end up together. So my book title is “Eternal Eclipse” because unlike an eclipse that isn’t permanent, their relationship is. So basically an important section in the book (the fact that theyre writing about an eclipse) but not the whole plot has a play in the title. Maybe u could do smth along those lines?
