Your velvety walls and lush color choice is on point!! If I ever end up with high ceilings and a large kitchen, I’ll likely just copy most everything you’ve done here. I love your channel. ❤

Thank you so much for these tips and the thought process. Extremely helpful, especially about the cabinet symmetry.😊

That was so interesting - thank you! I love the tip about not putting the same cabinet styles next to each other. And omg the kitty behaviour in the background the whole time 🤣

"Tell the people why you're so terrible!" The little furry terror: "I am Innocence!"😂 Love how you make choices on function and asthetics that aren't in conflict. The only thing I would personally exchange is the drawer pull for a handle in the middle of the corner unit. Because my pullout cabinet suffered from the asymetrical pull force... then again, I may have had shoddier drawer slides😅

I don’t like your cabinets color but I love your kitchen design and how functional you made it! Very beautiful! You are very good! Hope I was younger as I would have love doing mine too.

The tiered drawer scenario can work... IF you use the golden ratio, i.e. phi. I think it's 1.618 so top drawer height x 1.618 = second, second height x 1.618= 3rd and so on. But a ratio is key. Or, as you have done, you keep them all equal. No word on why no uppers/ why you did open shelving? Typically craftsman kitchens look like you need uppers, but you pulled it off! My issue is my kitchen is small, only 109 sq. Ft. And it's dominated by a built in pantry cabinet, the only original feature left. I'd love to pick your brain on my kitchen, if there's other venues to reach you like instagram where I can show you pics of what I'm working with and my ideas. And what's the backstory on that photo/ painting in the kitchen? I love it!

How did you do your dovetail drawers? Can you make a video how to make the drawers?

if I followed the rule about how much space "should" be allowed to walk and open cabinets and stuff, I would have a VERY sparse kitchen, lol. It's a smallish kitchen in France (my parents' kitchen in California is similar size in fact, so small kitchens are not limited to just Europe), anyways, it's just a room with a patio door onto the balcony, long and narrow, I have sink, dishwasher, and washing machine on one side, and stove, fridge, and lower cabinets on the other. It's very difficult for 2 people to be working in there, but as long as the patio door can open, and the cabinets can open, and the washers can open fully without hitting anything on the other side, hahahha, I'm good
