Such an informative video! Thanks :) I have one challenge still though, what are the dimensions for logo design in illustrator? Everytime I design a logo it looks good even after conversation to png. However, when I bring it back to illustrator as an image it balloons in size and I have to reduce its size which makes it look real pixelated. What am I doing wrong? Help please.

WOW.....Daniel , the way you kept us throughout the process and taught me how to comeup with a brand, mood board, competitor analysis - these exercises opened a whole new level of understanding to logo design for me, I'm so grateful for the level of effort and beginner understanding that you brought to this tutorials. Love the video, will keep up with the entire BYOL series and share my work in the group soon!

This was a very helpful video. I spent almost a thousand on branding working with freelancers on Fiverr. I was still unhappy with that I had. I didn't feel a connection to my own branding, and I knew that wasn't a good sign. So I started following these tutorials and ended up with not only an amazing logo, but also all types of other helpful stuff like my brand identity, my color palette...so much stuff. So now when I am designing some merch, or a banner or something on social media, I don't have to waste hours upon hours thinking. I just go back to my brief, my board, my sketches and within an hour I know what will work and what wont. And the best part is, my stuff is all aligned and synergized. It doesn't look like a different person designed everything. Everything comes together. Thank you!

Dan, I love your enthusiasm in explaining more about the process. What got me hooked into, is the mind map, since it's where the basis of our logo comes, and also the competitor analysis helps up bring up ideas and get your thinking going since you'll see various kinds of logos that would get you to be inspired to create yours. Man, in those 28 minutes, I learned a lot that's for sure. I just stumbled on this video of yours and I got tons of insights that I would definitely use for my future clients. Thanks again man, looking forward to more videos soon!

Today, 1.5 year passed, this thing blown my thinking and woken me up.........I started as novice, landed in covid 19 pandemic economy as my welcome gift of my very first career kickstart, gone through all hell proving every moment as nothing is happening, wow what a career year. Seriously, please no it was full of misery and now thanks to textual communication it made the past misery look cool fun. Well, my reccomendation, as designer in graphics field, work from home evolved : The greatest lesson I found, start in a "empty" space garage which is surrounded by nature and air and bigger space, not so perfect interior. So, that it unleashes your creativity. Point 1 : Ground zero, every beginner, go rough I mean, in start catch any rough space to start working and then make your own ideal space when your creativity guide you(a case where one have literally no idea). Point 2 : Computer is just a tool to create, everything comes from living in reality. So, wander and live in reality as much as possible. Ideas have to self come not forced. The more your five senses work the more you can define your piece of art. End note : Thanks BYOL! for educating us.
