Another great video. I have now got Affinity Designer so will be trying to follow along with your designs. A great way to learn the basic techniques of the tool and creating some great designs at the same time. Keep the design examples coming. Planning on starting my own T-Shirt business next year so your videos are great for inspiration and how to choose popular themes and ideas. Love the fact that you are honest about the returns that are achievable, none of this posing in front of a big house with a Ferrari nonsense. Keep up the good work!

I made it with half circle for sun(type in element to find) and rounded square for lines.And you can find palm tree in elements also.2 tips: when you want to make lines from rounded square shape,you should zoom 100% so you can make them thin and longer.And second tip,if you use canva free then use black color for backgroung and palm tree.when you download picture (png) you can use onlinepngtool.com site to remove backround.choose black color to be removed and then palm tree will be transparent too.I hope you get it :)

I will use GIMP to cutout the palm tree to make it transparent. Affinity Designer doesn't have an easy way / I don't have Affinity Photo.

Hi Juna! I'm an artist / graphic designer like yourself, I've been an artist for years now but I've only been doing print on demand on Merch and Redbubble for a few months. I've been trying to create unique illustrations for popular trends, and that has been working out great for me. However, since I've started doing POD my designs have been stolen multiple times and re-uploaded to other POD sites even when I have a watermark on them. I've reported a lot of them but they usually pop back up again under a different username or on another shady website. It's very frustrating. I was wondering if you have had a similar experience. If so, how do you prevent people from stealing your designs? This might be a good idea for a video. Thanks!

I do have the same experience. I basically do nothing unless they are selling on some of the bigger POD sites. If they are selling on RedBubble, Amazon, TeePublic, etc I report them.

Well I wouldn't copy it exactly (like Te Re said). If you change the colors and change the trees and of course use a very different font selection and you should be fine. There are lots of fonts and colors to choose from. Make it your own

You can but I like keeping vector stuff with Affinity Designer and raster (PNG) stuff in Affinity Photo.... mainly so I don't accidentally try to scale it.

You should do what works best for you. I personally like Affinity Designer because I used Illustrator for most of my Graphic Design career. If you are a beginner Canva may be easier but that is just what I heard. I have never used Canva so I don't really know. Affinity Photo is more like photoshop. I will continue to do more Affinity Designer videos if that helps. I'm sure there are tutorial for all 3. I would watch a few on KZbin and make your choice after watching them.

Yeah. I just kind of eye ball it. When I do find something that works I make sure to save it or at least make a mental note of it.

I have a question: If i purchase the package and i create design for t-shirts with some arts. After the access for 1 year as ended am i still able to sell those designs on t-shirts after the year has pass or will i need to renew the licence for yet another year?

I tried to look for an answer on their FAQs but I could find one. I would guess that once you purchase the 1 year package you can use the sunsets you downloaded but you would not have access to the new ones after your 1 year was over if you didn't renew.
