I will be using an iPad and more than likely procreate to create my sublimation prints. You mentioned setting up the printer itself to get the best quality prints since we don’t have the option to do that from the iPad. Do you have those printer settings?

Thank you so much for this. It's hard finding tutorials for anything sublimation on iPads, so I've had to figure out a lot by myself. But the tumbler prints was the only thing I was a bit worried about and wasn't able to figure out. I've put off ordering the stuff to do tumblers until I knew for sure i could swing it with my iPad. So glad I found this video!

Hello, I have a epson 2720 and use procreate. I bought sublimation design off Etsy (yes can use image to sell products) I uploaded it to procreate and printed it can put not as bright as original design. Is that normal? I didn’t transfer it yet to short because I’m nervous but I don’t know how to make colors brighter? Anything would help ❤️

Hey Taylor, yes this is normal, sublimation ink is activated by the heat, so it will be much brighter after pressing. Hope this helps! ---Becky

Many tumbler designs will come pre-sized, if not you will want to measure your blank before sizing the design.

In order to use Procreate you will need to use an iPad as it is an iPad app.

If you turn the background layer off, it would be transparent :) In the Layers panel just turn the checkbox off for the background!

When printing something with a black background for skinny tumblers, the black looks faded and or streaky when it transfers. Is there an adjustment in procreate that can be made to fix this so I get rich, vibrant black?

Hey Chris, I'm not sure about the settings in Procreate, but it could be a few issues with your printer settings. I would check to make sure that you are printing high quality or choosing a material like Premium Presentation Paper Matte (that's what I use personally). Also, you can perform a nozzle check on your printer to make sure everything is aligned and if you need to perform any head cleanings. Hope this helps! ---Becky

I use hiippo ink and you can import the icc profile into procreate by creating a new canvas and going to color profile and then import the icc profile.

Great video... I use procreate also for the CMYK profile. But I print it thru Canva App. Which gives me the Bleed option. May I ask what CMYK profile best for sublimation.

I'll be honest, I do not have much experience with CMYK and color profiles in general. It will depend on the printer and ink you are using, from what I understand. I would reach out to your ink manufacturer for the most accurate information. Hope this helps! ---Becky

Procreate is just way too limited for a enjoyable experience when doing for sublimation Its why i ditched my ipad and went for a samsung book3 360 Windows 11 folds into a tablet and comes with the spen and can use Photoshop as well as other stuff. I use a windows 11 pc so made total sense

I’m having problems with downloading any of my images from design bundles or anywhere onto my iPad. It just doesn’t seem to want to let me n I’m just not sure why. I click download files and then it kinda just hangs there with a blank white page (like it’s waiting for something to happen but nothing does). Ugh!!! Any help would be greatly appreciated

You'll want to check your downloads folder or Files app. The blank white page is a new tab that automatically opens when you press the downloads button. If you write into our Customer Support team we can send screenshots to further explain if needed :)
