In your opinion; what's the best quality/brand/type of shirt would you recommend that is used for most bootleg old school fit ov sized fit/tough duty tees you'd grab from a thrift/vintage spot when trying to create these on your own to wear?
@FULLERMOE4 жыл бұрын
Great question. Comfort Colors or Colortone will get you in the ballpark in terms of the wash. You can also check out Bella + Canvas. They have some great mineral wash blanks. The hardest part is the fit. Unfortunately, I don't know of any brand that offers the oversized fit AND vintage wash. It seems to be either one or the other. Hope this is helpful!

how do you make the photo you use not blurry
@FULLERMOE4 жыл бұрын
The best thing you can do is start with a high-resolution photo. If you need to enlarge your photo a *little bit* in Photoshop, it's not a big deal - but if you're going in with a small image and trying to print it on a shirt, it's going to look very blurry and not print well. So my suggestion is to utilize as high of resolution photo as you can from the beginning. Thank you for watching!

Do you remember those old Magic Johnson T's? They had designs all over. Would love to be able to make one similar since the originals are hard to find and extortionate.

Hey been watching your videos a lot as I am fellow artists but just jumping into the graphic design aspect, normall just sketch up my silk screens and print. But which do you think would be best for creating tshirts in photoshop, a laptop or iPad pro with a an Apple pen ?
@FULLERMOE4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the comment! Hard for me to say, since I'm not really an illustrator. My gut tells me you'd definitely want some kind of tablet, Photoshop and an iMac if possible 💯

Thank you for the tutorial! Do you print on dark transfer paper and cut the edges of the letter or you cut straight horizontally on top and bottom before doing a heat press?

What canvas size do you work with usually with these shirts? And what files do you provide to the printers of the designs? PNG with the transparent background? thanks :)
@FULLERMOE4 жыл бұрын
I always use 15 inches x 25 inches. That's big enough to mess around and make things larger/smaller as needed. If you're working in Photoshop and the end goal is to print your design, you NEED to send the the printers a PSD file, preferably with all of your layers in tact. Do not send a flat image or PNG. Would a video showing how to finalize artwork to send for printing be useful to you? Thanks for watching!

Thank you for this video!! Quick question, if I create my own designs with celebs & movies, would it be a possibility I could be sued?

Hi, Why do you use RGB color mode instead of CMYK? I thought it should be CMYK because it is for printing.
@FULLERMOE2 жыл бұрын
I don't do my own color seps, that's really when you need to worry about what color mode you in. At least that's been my experience. Even if you use CMYK in Photoshop, it's not going to change the fact that there will be some differences in color when you're going from digital to physical.
