I applied what is shown in the video many times. However, the system does not reach the desired output or becomes unstable. Even if the regression ratio is found to be 0.99. Where am I making a mistake?

The actual values for any system need to be determined everytime bu doing simulation. Easy way is to use PID Tuner block then use only selected parameters such as PD, PI, I and find the best value. Kindly watch my video on PID tuner for better understanding.

Frequency can be measured by using PLL phase locked loop. But to control it, you have to make active power generation equal to load demand. Therefore, it can be controlled by load frequency control or load shedding scheme.

Thanks for the compliments. For two area, you have to use two ANN, one for first area and other for second area. Therefore, the code remains same. Only you have to use it two times. One for training the data of first area controller and second for training the data of second controller.

Hi Sir, I have been trying to implement NN in the similar manner to a step input to my plant represented as 1/(0.5s+1). I also, designed the PI controller for the same plant and with PI controller, the response is satisfactory which follows the step input trajectory. But when I train the NN model and replace my PI with it, the response is not following the step input trajectory. That means, the NN controller responses even when the input values is zero. I am looking forward to get some insight on my problem, as I am beginner and any help from you will encourage me to continue my work in this direction. Thankyou!

Thanks for the comment. As ANN depends upon the input and output data. Therefore, try to check the input and output data. If there are some values greater than the required output then change these values. Then train the ANN. Hopefully it will work. Or you may watch my videos on ANN and ANFIs. I am not sure in. Which video i have discussed this strategy.
