Thank you Sir for your excellent video, but I have a question. If I need a PID for collecting good training values, what is the benefit of using ANFIS? It would be simpler to use directly the PID model. So what is the advantage of using ANFIS instead of PID for Load Frequency Control Model?

Thanks for the comment. In PID controller, you have to tune the parameters to get satisfactory response. It is a time consuming process. On the other hand, ANFIS has the ability to provide the best results for all cases.

Thanks for the explanation. And I want to ask, Can we make this simulation automatic straight away without needing to separately change the PID controller and anfis? So the PID and Anfis blocks are in the diagram, and the PID data is directly used by anfis and we can immediately see the results of the anfis

Thanks for the comment. ANFIS needs training first. Otherwise it will not give correct reault. Training is always done out of the model.

Hi please I have a few questions. I tried doing something similar and I encountered the following challenges, When you change the step size the anfis controller doesnt perform so well if it was trained with another step size also the tie line power is not so good affecting ITAE.please help me out on how best I can address these issues

1.018 gain value is obtained after running the simulation for large number of times and using different random number of values.

Thanks for the comment. ANFIS allows only one output. For more than one outputs, ANFIS may not be applicable in my opinion.
