believe it or not, i've been saying this for years. i genuinely believe the cheat "community" on tf2 is generally smaller than it seems, but the people that use cheats spend practically all day cheating and all have similar personalities, playstyles, etc. overwhelmingly, every cheater i've ever fought was horrible at the game, had a complete lack of awareness as to where to play, where to stand, where to go, how to move, etc., even with wallhacks they just get themselves into stupid positions and die to pubbers that have probably never even played a video game before. the same cheaters rage hack even harder if someone kills them 2 or more times, and will inevitably start taunting and saying stupid cheater lingo like "hitting P" or "1" or whatever. any attempt to accuse them of cheating will lead to them saying you're bad, stay salty, "uh actually i'm just an mge lord you don't know anything kid!!" (and yet plays with the gamesense of someone that just installed year after year after year), nothing short of them spinbotting will actually lead to their team kicking them, because a lot of pubbers unfortunately can't tell obvious cheaters apart from normal people, and, if their own team does start accusing them, they get ultra defensive, super passive, and start whining about how they're always being harassed and oooohh woe is meeee oooohh poor me stop kicking me :((((((. the second a votekick starts ALL of the racial slurs start coming out, they start threatening to ddos the server or dox people with their omega elite script kiddy skills, etc etc., and then it's all over. the personalities are always overwhelmingly vindictive, hateful, toxic, hypocritical, racist, needlessly attention seeking, among other things. the ones i encounter almost always say the same things, do the same things, play the same way, have the same insults, and, of course, play in the same friend groups and have a ton of mutuals with other cheaters. So, yeah. they might as well be clones.

Another sad fact, it may not be the same dude you were friends with. Not majority but some cheaters get accounts by stealing them and just using them to cheat until they get banned, especially accounts with a lot of time and items to make it seem legit.

Well, it's not a real item in TF2. This hacker somehow added it in a non-custom server. Assuming this is a Valve server (used for Casual, Competitive, Mann vs. Machine, Training and Commentary modes), this custom asset smuggling is illegal, especially weapons that don't exist in the vanilla game.
