The first ever rock crawling competition for side-by-sides is held at Trail Hero in Sand Hollow State Park...and we've never seen so much off road damage, snapped axles, and all around 4x4 carnage as we did while watching these SxS attempt this trail!

As always, another great video. Carnage and more carnage. I could smell the burning tires, oil and exhaust fumes and an occasional burst of sand in my face. The parts dealers must love these events.

Those things look like RC toys, only bigger- and more expensive! I got tense just watching; for the second time! Nice -love the hat, Brit. Always good to have Rory and crew around for the recoveries. Practice makes for faster times. Maybe trail should be renamed "Rig Breaker"! LIteBriteNationRocksRollsAndRollovers!

Having gone from decades of truck/jeep offroading to SxS off roading for the last 14 years it's absolutely a different beast when it comes to rock "Crawling". With the belt drive and the somewhat strange front wheel drive system on the Polaris machines, where the front differential is only engaged when the back wheels are turning faster than the front, you can't really "Crawl" the rig. Rock "Sending" is a more correct term. They're fun, and have some amazing capabilites, but also have some behaviors that can make rock crawling challenging.

This video is a great example that SxSs aren't exactly good a being reliable. But those breaks were just funny, especially at 13:25, with the axel just spinni'n as much as it wants lol.

Does litebrite have any experience with KRXs, I hear they crawl better than a RZR because of lowering gearing, can fit 35s stock and a bit more travel, which is what I’ll be using it for, not high speed I’m trying to choose, any input is appreciated

You can see the difference with side by sides with IRS and the Step Childs solid axles on rock crawling, they seem really prone to rollover....

I got idea maybe go to the jeep dealer see if they can get you a jeep truck body and frame only with out the motor and transmission no front or rear end tell they you want to install your own running gear if they do it could turn into a new market for off road toys how much just and body and frame cost

Huge offroading community in Utah, everyone have buddies with shops, most of the community knows each other and are willing to lend a hand when it comes to fixing the rigs.

That is definitely not my game they sound like little motorcycles and then all of a sudden you hear snap and they’re broken. See there are things jeeps are tougher than I know. Jeeps are high maintenance sometimes but they survive this stuff

Those things are like delicate roses except they SNAP all the time. Thought maybe I wanted one but they look like garbage. Try to climb a hill and shit rolls over or breaks right & left in spots jeeps can crawl

I am sorry, but the American flag should not be allowed to touch the ground. So, having The American Flag on a sxs, that is TRYING to be a rock crawler, is not cool.
