Another banger! You're basically building my (gambit) repertoire for me at this point. Btw, I've been trying out another way of playing against the dreaded Italian in the BGG: If White plays 4. d3, then 4...d5 5. exd5 c6 can lead to a lot of fun. One absolutely bonkers line I've found while playing around with the engine: 1. e4 e5 2. Nf3 Bc5 3. Bc4 Nf6 4. d3 d5 5. exd5 c6 6. dxc6 Nxc6 7. Ng5 Bg4 8. f3 Qb6 9. fxg4 O-O-O 10. Nxf7 e4 11. Nxh8 Bg1 12. Qe2 Re8 13. Nc3 Nd4 14. Qf1 exd3+ 15. Kd1 Nxg4 16. Qxg1 dxc2+ 17. Kd2 Qh6+ 18. Kd3 Ne5+ 19. Kxd4 Nc6+ 20. Kc5 Qh4. At the end, you're down 13 points of material but the white king is on c5 and if White makes one mistake, it's like mate in 2 every single time. And this ridiculous Bg1 move is in there as well. Only problem is that it's garbage :D

Lmaoo I really like the ideas you have out of the BGG declined! This line reminds me a lot of the Goring gambit, my second go-to line aside from the Italian with white. Doesn't quite have the same bite as it does with white, but does allow you to develop very quickly. Did you notice that the top played move after dxc6 is Bxf2!? Same ideas as the "Dummy Gambit" that FM William Graif made a video on, its complete trash but it does have winning stats for black. The line you covered is crazy for sure, I love messing with the engine and finding these random 20 move lines that end with complete annihilation while down every single piece hahaha. Only problem with your idea is that when you play the goring with white, black doesnt usually have enough time to castle without running into trouble, whereas playing a tempo down with black, white can castle anytime with relative safety and it can be difficult to prove your advantage a pawn down. You also give away your central pawns, which is going to make the middle game more difficult since you cant keep the king in the center. Very fun ideas though, both your Ng4 lines and these d5 lines make for some interesting games, especially in blitz and bullet. I'm telling you though, I really think you're going to like the lines I will show in my "How to destroy the Italian Game with Black" video, I know I said my next one will be the London video but I am actually getting more hyped to make this one instead. London will of course be next after this. Expect my response to you in video format soon!

@@chrislevy42069 Yeah, I saw that Bxf2+ move, with the idea that after Kxf2 and Qb6+, the most common move Be3 is a blunder because of Ng4+. Even if White doesn't fall for that and just goes Kf1 or Ke1, it could be somewhat interesting, but really you’re just down a piece and haven’t even properly started your attack yet. Now, after dxc6 Nxc6, White can castle safely, but then comes Bg4 (and if h3, h5 of course), Qc7, O-O-O and things can get really sharp really fast. It’s all super dubious and shouldn’t work, but the point simply is to not let White play an Italian, which is what they’re aiming for, and forcing them to stay in gambit territory. I‘m excited for your lines, though! Really looking forward to the video.

29:45 I really like 4... Nc6 here, since it gives black similar ideas as in the mainline (it's literally just the position at 9:04 down a tempo, but with an extra pawn on c7). White has a few responses: 5.d4: just blunders a pawn 5.Bc4: doesn't make much sense as black just has 5...Nxe5 6.fxe5 Qd4 winning a pawn with a great position, 5...Nh6 is also viable if you want to go for the Qd4+ trick 5.Nxc6 bxc6: generally just a bad position for white, also the most common line is again 6.Bc4 Nf6 7.0-0 Qd4+ winning the bishop 5. Bb5 Nf6: the critical line, the main trap is once again 6.Nxc6 bxc6 7.Bxc6+ Bd7 8.Bxa8 Bg4 trapping the queen, there are a few other lines as well, including some exchange sacs (e.g. 6.Nc3 Bc5), all common lines score well for black

Great video. Something you might want to add to your list of openings is a weapon against the Trompowsky, as you are covering 1. d4 Nf6 openings for black.

I used to play e4 hoping to play the King's Gambit, exclusively. I had a coach in high school who also loved playing the gambit, and would respond with the Falkbeer, so I've got a lot of experience against it (though my quality of play was worse then). I think its main virtue is that it doesn't really let white play in the way history shows they want to play. I don't know if it's really the best option for black. I rarely respond to e4 with e5, but I find g5 lines are tried and true solid against the King's Gambit, too. Thanks for the video!

Glad you enjoyed it! If you play the King's Gambit, which do you think is the strongest reply to the Pickler Gambit? Is your typical response covered in my video here?

This is excellent...thank you!!! I spent yesterday just going over your Anti-F4 Lines. This will make me MUCH STRONGER vs. Kings Gambit. I was surprised it's played so rarely...I see it somewhat frequently. The only place I'm still struggling is in the BGG denier lines that turn into the italian game...my attack fizzles out sometimes...but I'm getting better though.

I think I will make a video just for you then! I've had a few people say they struggle against the Italian games, whereas I absolutely feel completely in my comfort zone since I have played them so many times. Lots of the variations transpose into each other, and you just have to know the attack it a bit slower than many of the other gambit lines. Give me just a few days, that video should help you greatly!

I'd love the pgn too, but in that case, people will just simply come here, get the pgn and leave. They simply won't watch the entire video. To support this guy (even though he's not monitized yet) u should watch the video and re-watch it and build your repertoire from scratch. This will get him more traffic and he might eventually be able earn from this.

Thank you for checking out the content! I have all of my studies publicly available on my lichess account, look up Yahweh42069, click studies at the top, and you should see everything there. I dont think I have any restrictions on them, so I guess dont delete everything lol. I really only use them to make my videos, so they are quite sloppy and theres a bunch of random moves everywhere just so I could see what the engine thought. After my video is made, I really dont even visit them anymore, I just use the analysis board after my games. Might even see some future content on there!

Thank you for backing me up Zyrexia! I really don't mind giving away my PGNs, because they are not very good honestly lol. Like I told him, if you ever want to check them out, you can visit my lichess account Yahweh42069, they should all be up there. Definitely don't make them super prominent since I would prefer people to watch the video absolutely, but since I really don't even look at them anymore after the video is made, I don't mind letting people check them out. All the lines in the videos will be there, they just aren't organized, the main line might just be some random ass move. Thank you for your support Zyrexia!
