@@Legendary__1 it’s only hair brotha man. You got this, get good lighting, good mirror positions, decent clippers, and just work with it. Dont worry bout how long it takes. Focus on the guidelines you make, and learn what guards to use to take those guidelines out. Dont forget the flick of the wrist. Goodluck!
@goldmedal677 ай бұрын
@@Legendary__1I was the same way. Start off simple. Start with low tapers in the sides and back. The hardest part is getting used to the motions on yourself and looking in the mirror, the actual thing with fading if you follow the rules like guidelines you’ll be fine but for self cuts you just gotta get used to the motions of doing it on yourself. So start with low tapers then gradually mid/high tapers, and when you get comfortable you can start doing fades on yourself

No Jeezy, that was good. I see it. I mean I don’t know if anybody else can see it. I’m pretty sure everybody could see it. It showed when you moved it. You showed it. You got confidence anyway you run your show. You do good you don’t stare nobody in the wrong directions, respect, you be real respect.

I’m a rookie barber learning the ropes. I’ve only been at it 2 months fresh out of barber college and jacking up cuts. I get discouraged and don’t want to go to work, I get nervous when I get a walk in but I force my way through this cause on the cuts that come out nice I feel like I’m on top of the world. There’s no feeling better than knocking out a fresh fade. I want to get to the point where all my cuts are fresh and see where this takes me. I’m not worried about the money I’m focused on the challenge of being a great barber

@ 360Jeezy I have an interesting challenge for you. Often times I hear people say that a barber is only as good as his tools. would you be able to produce the same quality of work using cheap clippers and edgers. Im talking Amazon or department storebought clippers. Let me know what you think

I believe that challenge was done before. As far as low cost clippers from Walmart. He has a video of it. It may still be in his catalog

Oh, that’s I see what you’re doing nice, nice content. Yes, most definitely. I see the basic fade and you’re right that’s something somebody would get you know pay 20 bucks $25 at a barbershop they spend you around that’s how you look when you leave is what you’re gonna do you’re gonna detail what you just showed right? well, there’s only one way to find out. I’m gonna get back to the video. I like how you set it up. Let me see if you set it up that way.
