Dude, your bike is looking dressed to the nines! Well done.

I use a product called engine bright that is probably similar to the stuff you use on my naked Yamaha. You're doing it right if you love how your bike looks and rides.

Quick question....on your rotors...I have the same rotors and they make a CRAZY amount of noise...I thought there was something defective (warped rotors, alignment issues etc..) PM says its simply the buttons and the fact they are floating that is creating the noise.....do you have any issues with yours making clicking sounds LOUDLY??? I literally thought it was a bad bearing...
@MOTOPILOT62 жыл бұрын
yes my PM floating rotors are very loose and noisy. I even hold my finger on the front brake at red lights to quiet them down. seem to stop good tho. lol

@@MOTOPILOT6 We removed the calipers, still made noise (not as bad)...took wheel off and inspected the bearings (all good), put the wheel back on and zip tied the 2 rotors together to keep it from floating at all and BOOM noise was completely gone... :-P It drove me CRAZY, as even the brembo floating rotors on my Ducati didnt make anywhere near as much noise as these.....but you are right, once you put the noise out of your mind, they stop GREAT! Its still nice to hear that its not just me (and not a defect just in mine), as I have the same exact wheels and rotors.

Looks good all around, Pilot, ... But to me,.... The Derby cover is too much red for that area.... maybe tone it up a bit with a Black "Slash-line " across the middle ... or something?... Oh yeah.... Anodizing and Hard Coat Anodizing,, ... those types of metallurgical treatments only work for Aluminum and its alloys, not for ferrous or non-ferrous metals like 18-8 Stainless Steels..... So Yeah, the red paint on the SS Hex-head screws you installed..... that's paintm , .... not anodizing, and eventually it will weather off. So you will need to keep on top of it....Odd suggestion, from mine to you,... for the bolts, is to grab your GF's clear coat nail polish and coat the red parts of those bolts with it. might work ?? , Duuno, lol,
