Changing a broken string begins with figuring out what replacement string you need. This video covers how to go about doing this, first discussing the three materials harp strings can be made out of - nylon, gut and wire - and then explaining the numbering system used to differentiate between individual strings. Both a pedal and a lever harp are used as examples.
