Sir I have question that how we can differentiate between mixed astigmatism and simple myopic of hyperopic.? You said that if one is negative like sphere and other is positive we called it mixed astigmatism. . But you wrote. +1.oo/-1.oo@90 in hyperopic... Is not it mixed astigmatism because here we have one value in positive and other is negative

For mixed astigmatism, both signs are opposite(means if sphere is positive cyl will be negative or vice versa) and power of cyl should be greater than sphere like -1.00/+3.00@180

It is myopia, your eye power is 0.50D greater than the normal eye power, so you need -0.50D lenses to achieve normal eye power.

Just a question, at the optic cross does the horizontal line refer to 90° and vertical refers th 180° ? Because I feel you reversed the axis in all examples.
