I've always done more of a mandatory maximum, I overshoot as a safety measure but then the whole 'your work expands to the time you assign to it' principle kick in as well. Will try out the minimum coupled with a review and see how it goes!

I love how you make studying something realistic, manageable, and not the only purpose of one's life :) When you talk about planning, you enhance the fact that you are doing that in order to be less stressed, to be able to go out with friends, etc... It makes it much more motivating this way !

It's best to read summaries and look up definitions while you do the reading too. Nice video! Easy to follow along. 1. Planning Writing down every test, assignment, and exam deadlines is key, and setting up timed reminders for them because it is easy to forget about that assignment due every Friday at 5 pm unless you do.

I can concur that this is very true! I adopted this study habit about a year or so ago when the pandemic got really bad. I had 15+ credit hours and doing this allowed me to stay focused, but also have time to myself. Awesome tips!

In my undergrad I treated my studies as a job. If I wasn't on campus I worked 9-5 on my studies. I tried to keep to working hours. I went over that, often but I treated it as my job which made it much easier.

I found it really encouraging that you actually said how long you take for stuff. For me my assignments and my reading consume so much time and it really drains me and discourages me because I always feel that it shouldn't take so long even though I know that it a) actually needs time and b) I will become more effective with practice.

To do list changed my life. To do list is really important bcs since i maked a to do list for everyday i got a structure day and it's wonderful. And always planning your day and month is good choice bcs you can to know what should you doing for this month or today. I agree with your tips, and i got the results after practice it. And amazing tips as well - been reading your book and I’ve already gained so much insight from it - particularly loved the reflection section at the end of each chapter- I found that quite interesting because we often study so much and feel disappointed when we don’t get the grade we want but never take the time to truly understand what we did wrong and where we could improve in terms of our approach - The reflection section is genuinely so relaxing- I’m just able to sit with my thoughts and see where I could improve without stressing- so just wanted to say a huge huge thankyou for the positive approach you have towards everything in life 🤩😊 loved the video! ❤️❤️
