I love the format and editing of these videos. Keep it up. One bit of advice I would give is to explore using your head more. Literally. I personally prefer head to the front shoulder or closer to the armpit. I find you achieve the blocking but also create some more centreline tension and torsion.

I really suggest you to buy the John danaher new wave passing , he spend a lot of time talking about hip and Knee post, also, once you get the right angle and grips, why you don’t walk backwards instead of forward ? Is way better, John explain the reason very clearly on his dvd , cheers, keep up the good work ❤

Great moves when you're young and very athletic. Will you be able to do that in your 40s? Pressure passing is tried and true.

how do you develop these missions? Do you go over instructionals or do you drill it for 60 days? if its the latter how many times would be the optimal amounts
@Carsahh
@Carsahh 6 ай бұрын
I just spend a lot of time drilling and researching the position. I base the missions on certain key points I feel help me a lot when hitting a technique 👍

@carsahh why not choose the head to shoulder instead of the stomach? if you pin the head to shoulder doesn’t that keeps his back to the mat? just curious😊. love the video man. had some goosebump to wacht you make it that far! keep up the good work✨🫶🏼👍🏾💪🏽

So I actually started with that, but my problem is they can still move their guard into me as my head is occupying higher on the torso. Keeping the head lower on the torso prevents the high leg better for me which then allows me to force the hips to face away. Once I make a sequel to this one I’ll explain that better 😅

Nice video bro! I have been trying this type of passing (inside camping) for the last 2 months, with alot of success. Just wondering, do you think you are too excited/anxious to pass sometimes, at the 'slaying the knee' stage. The purpose of inside camping is to tire out your opponent, so I stay there for half to 1 min sometimes, then disconnect my hip and shove their knee through. By that time, my opponent is already very tired. I might be wrong though. Let me know what you think, thanks!
@Carsahh
@Carsahh 5 ай бұрын
I think inside camping works a lot better for staying stagnant. From my experience I don’t like staying in camp as I feel like my opponent can reguard fairly easy. If I’m camping outside I’d much rather be attacking from north south and drilling as hard as I can to force them to bench press me off, instead of just straight arm hold me off. I think that’s what really gets them tired is the movement of my weight. If they can use structure to hold a non moving object I feel like it’s easier to retain and push to regain frames. Inside camp yes, outside camp no. Inside you can apply a substantial amount of weight with a lot of control over ops movement. Outside camp loses a lot of those control points so I don’t find it as effective to stay there 😅
@marcusmjx740
@marcusmjx740 5 ай бұрын
@@Carsahh Thanks for your reply! So after you achieved your outpost from the leg drag, you still consider it outside camping, and you put your weight on them and adjust your weight constantly so they can't stiff arm you effectively to create space to regain guard. Only when you're past the kneeline, or in North South, when they can't stiff-arm you (with structure), then you camp there and make them carry your weight with their bench press. Am I understanding correctly? This would make alot of sense. Thanks!

Whats the risk of kimura with your elbow flared out that far when you post on their knee to shove it by?
@Carsahh
@Carsahh 7 ай бұрын
With mission 2, flanking the hips and creating a scenario where our ops hips are facing away from us, it prevents the Kimura because they cannot reach their far arm up to my shoulder
@mraBJJ33
@mraBJJ33 7 ай бұрын
@Carsahh I see, so it's a matter of maintaining enough distance to avoid that, all while staying close/low enough to maintain pressure and control of their near side leg in your hip from getting back to a guard position?
@Carsahh
@Carsahh 7 ай бұрын
@@mraBJJ33 in my findings, exactly. However it is a battle of maintaining that position and your opponent recovering, if they manage to face into us there’s a side technique I call the “dead arm” and if you watch Jozef vs Kenta you’ll see him throw his arm in the air and I think he does that to prevent the kimura as well. It also prevents op from framing on that shoulder or arm too. I’m gonna cover that in the next video so stay tuned 😁

That style of passing is nice and flashy for young and lighter people but it won't age well as you get older. Pressure passing is more technical imo. Boring but way better from a long term perspective.
@marcusmjx740
@marcusmjx740 5 ай бұрын
But as a lighter person, I find it really hard to do pressure passing. Tried it for 2 years, and had little success against the guys who had 40 to 50 pounds on me. When I switched to torreando and leg drags, and then camping, I could pass many of them after 2-3 months.

Awesome video dude ! But I dont get it, what's the link beetween north south passing and camp passing ? U go to camp passing when north south is not available or when ur opponent block u ?
@Carsahh
@Carsahh 7 ай бұрын
Basically yeah, if I can’t get enough angle to attack north south, it should be easy to attack the camp position. Same vice versa. I was rolling with someone that kept allowing me into the north south angle, but I was way to focused on try to camp that I never took the open north south pass.

Brother I hate to be a hater but you’re literally just repackaging Gordon Ryan instructional and acting like you developed it. This is 100% literally just copy and paste Gordon Ryan passing system. Please stop it’s cringe. Be creative if you’re gonna act like you’re teaching your shit 😂

To be exact for the people watching this shit, just buy Gordon Ryan’s passing instructional #2. This is just the .99 cent store version.
@Carsahh
@Carsahh 7 ай бұрын
It’s actually not even 99 cents, it’s ✨free✨ what I’m “selling” is a different perspective, framing the pass as a mission system rather than direct steps. Once you hit blue belt you’ll understand that different point of views produce different results in your bjj. Also for the record, most of the things I learned were from watching Jozef Chen 👍
