like this idea of body armour very adaptable im from a wing chun background for my sins haha please ive heard it all about wc...but this is a good concept that can be adapted to a lot of styles an systems would relish the chance to learn alondside maoul

Loong time ago.. Thailand with mua thai always attack Malay with Silat. This style to overcome lower kick by muathai

im from the same country as him. i dont think he should share too much abt weak points exposing too much of the country's martial arts secrets haha. these reference of weak points can be so useful for MMA fighters if the dive deep into understanding of how they can target certain weak points. our martial arts are so different from the chinese....but i always knew its VERY affective in street situations. since my grandfather also knew Silat and for a small guy during his time he actually took down 3 people in a fight.....he never taught none of his grandsons nor did he teached his own sons. he told us we dont need to learn it just focus on making money LOL so it never came down to any of us. each silat has its own Art and technics and also SECRET technics that they never share unless youre a real student who succeed them etc. these SECRET technics are usually used to compete with other silat arts to show other silat fighters during those medieval days how its more superior. believe or not theres Silat arts out there in malaysia,brunei and indonesia where it has less popularity BUT its way more dangerous cause' its a striking to kill art not the typical hurt you kinda stuff its literally was created to strike and kill. but i guess its okay for this guy to share BASICS haha just dont share too much with the westerners. like how bruce came up with the idea of mixed martial arts and the westerners utilized it and made it into MMA. i dont want silat art to be utilize into affectively Killing a person fast and it becomes a mainstream thing. so in a way i guess its ok for him to share basics but not the real secrets of it

Those who with high temperament always caught teachers eyes thus they might not fully have the teachers knowledge. Also teaching children whom tend to fight as much as how children did, they just happened to be teached with the silat's flowers rank (bunga silat) not the silat's fruits rank (buah silat).
