extera first air bag sensor then cruise then horn... is it clock spring?

@@AnthonyDemarco-x3n I do believe so. But be sure to check the fuses first, but yes all 3 of those things are on the clock spring circuit. I would suspect the clock spring. Side note: this is a part that I recommend to be OEM at like $250 compared to eBay($55) ones that fail often.

On my 05 manual offroad xterra. The light comes on like it's working fine, the set light never comes on and it just doesn't set, I've replaced the sensors on both the clutch and brake, and holding the shifter In gear harder does nothing too, and my reverse lights work, so I didn't think it would be the shift sensor. So I've been doing 1000 mile road trips without cruise for almost 2 years now.

My gut reaction it sounds like the clockspring as well. With the cruise control on…If you can, try to “set” the speed when the steering wheel is turned like around a somewhat sharp bend in the road going above 25 (or the minimum speed needed to engage. If the set works when the wheel is turned, then the problem is likely the clockspring. Side note: the module that control the cruise control is within the PCM so no separate CC module. Hope this helps!

I'm assuming your thinking the contacts might be worn out, I'll give it a try, it's been the worst experience of my life not having cruise control. Thanks for the information, it's definitely the best info I've seen on yt so far.

I cant find the fuse location. Any suggestions?
@TheocdrepairmanАй бұрын
@@DarrelllCampbelll there is no fuse! It’s just the pcm fuse. The cruise control is tied into the pcm

My Cruise Control light won't even come on.

Then it is likely either the switch or the clockspring
