Thank you so so much for this series of videos. This deep dive while also watching you tweak them "live" helped me make more sense of some of the weirder reverbs. So far I'm loving the Double Tank for my Rhythm tone and Ganymede for the rest. Also love the Mr. Black Supermoon shoutout. I used to keep a Bloodmoon on my board until I switched to HX for my reverbs and amps.

4:00 Low cut = cut the lower frequencies, so when it's at 900Hz, you're losing ALL your low end. When it's set at 110Hz, you're losing everything below 110Hz. So if you want ALL the low end, you want to use low cut off. Same for high cut. Cuts the high end. So if set at 900Hz, you're losing ALL the frequencies above 900Hz. When set at 2kHz, you lose everything above 2000Hz. (So yeah, "let's bring that low cut back" and setting it from 900Hz to 110Hz is pretty much the opposite: The low cut was reduce significantly. Same for high end: "let's bring the high cut back" and going from 500Hz to 2500Hz has just reduced the high cut by a lot.)

Totally...If I would've finished my phrase, I would've said, "Let's bring that low cut back "down" or "back from where I moved it." But yeah, I don't want to confuse anyone...thanks for the catch

The new Boss GT-1000 Core (mini) is out... I am seriously considering getting one and doing similar videos for it. Keep doing these tweaks videos, this is how you learn to create presets and sounds from scratch! Gotta dig deep and learn the limits of the unit.

Thank you so much! Yeah, I've watched a few videos and read a bunch of comments. I don't have experience with Boss GT series. I've read serval comments that their amp/cab simulation has always been not so great. But I don't personally know that. I'd like to see how good it is and if it can do well against the Stomp. It seems to have way more blocks and room to do more stuff. But if it doesn't sound as good, it wouldn't be that appealing to me.

Hey man, great video. Was just wondering... Do you ever film without a hat? Are you always wearing a hat because of a hair situation? Im just curious. Love the series! Just ordered my stomp from Amazon yesterday. But even though I have prime, I won't get mine for another 6 days because I live in just north of New Orleans the swamps and hurricane Delta is on the Louisiana coast as I type. So Amazon says (increased shipping times due to weather in your area) just my luck!! Im going crazy waiting for my HX Stomp!!! So watching videos to help keep me from crying!! Lol!!

Haha! Great question. Honestly, the hat thing is just easier. I have quarantine hair right now. Just been shaving the sides up and the top is just a mess. @@JeffHendricks WOW! You got lucky. We had pine limbs and pine needle bushels all over the yard. Made a pile 4 feet high from everything that fell. We got a lot of rain bands and windy all that night. Every 10 seconds acorns and limbs hit the metal roof scaring everyone. On lost electricity a few times for a few mins each. So we got blessed there. But had to turn everything off bc the electricity was flickering on and off like 5 times a second, so surprised that the ac didn't fry! Lol! Anyways, glad you're alright man!
