How to dig Razor Clams in tough conditions

On the right tide and the right conditions, anyone can walk down and dig their limits right? When the tide is low and the shows are obvious. But what if you show up and it's a tougher dig? A higher low tide or tough competition due to the recent openings of one beach at a time concentrating all diggers on one beach? This video is all about giving you some ideas to still get your limits and make that 2 hour + drive worth it.

I wish I saw this before I went out for my 1st time: raining, I didn't know the holes far from the break were shrimp. Came home with nothing. Most of these razor videos are people bragging. This one is real. It might be fun if you bring some home. Otherwise it's a lot of work and time for nothing.

Yes, there usually is! You gotta keep an eye on things to know for sure. Things can get canceled if the marine toxins spike too high.

Great Vid ! We have Alot of fun digging razors at Twin harbors. We camp out at the state park and go crabbing during the day down on the docks.

Pretty bad at copalis tonight so wet windy and a .04 big surf oh man maybe next time time to go learn about seiku we have never been there but wanna try this spring when weather is decent thx for the great vids

Thanks for the comment and the report! Yeah, not every dig is a great opportunity to get limits. Big surf and higher lows makes it tough. Definitely gotta do Sekiu in the spring time for bottomfishing and maybe even blackmouth if both are open
