I really like your tutorials. Do you use the 6B pencil for your first sketch? Also, I make clipart, so would it be better to put the grungy sketch lines inside of the initial sketch line so that it can be saved as a PNG file? Or would it be better to just keep it as a JPEG?
@JudittyArt7 ай бұрын
Thank you for checking out the tutorials! It really depends. Will you be selling it as a PNG file? Then it may be convenient to keep it as a PNG file the entire time. :)

I really struggled with this. The clipping mask didnt work and I had loads of trouble with the layers, trying to get the strokes to show. :( I will be uploading my recorded video soon - maybe you could take a look? I'm very much a beginner with most things in Procreate but have followed a few tutorials successfully. Usually when the provide the background and drawing files its fine.

Clipping masks can be tricky! Especially if you use lighter colors. Don't worry! You will become a pro in no time!! :D Everything takes time :)

Hi! I bought your brush but the bold rough isn’t the same..can you please explain? Thanx
@JudittyArt5 ай бұрын
Hi! Thank you for purchasing. There is no way that it is not the same brush. I've never updated it since its original creation date. It may look different on certain canvases and under different settings. Please make sure to look at the opacity levels as well.

Thanks for the reply! I'm new and I didn't understand why you could see the "dot" of the brush that she painted and I thought it was your setting on the brushes but no it's in the general settings😅. I noticed that it's really difficult to color especially if you go over it. It would be nice if you could also do tutorials on sheet layers for people like me who are using it for the first time. for example, I don't understand why the texture of your paper remains visible even though you paint?

@@francescasicilia9514 Ah you are new! :) Yes, I will try to do some videos around this. However, I'm not sure why you are seeing this "dot." Do you think that you can send a screenshot? The texture of the paper is there to create a watercolor effect. Are you using one of the 4 canvases?

@@francescasicilia9514 Glad to hear that you solved it! Have you added the layers on top of the "Draw Here" layer? All of your drawing layers need to be underneath the "Paper Texture" layer. Hope that makes sense!
